"The DOME" is a unique home with two master suites and a kid's room with a bunk bed. Two additional adult size cots stored in entrance closet for groups looking to spread out. Ample parking for trailers along with over two hundred feet of floating dock at the lake end of a private channel, this home is begging to host families for a vacation of fishing, kayaking, and watersports. One side of the property borders a Lake County Land Trust reserve with many species of herons, egrets, osprey, ducks, turtles, otters, deer and raccoons are routinely observed.

Annual lake visit

This is our second stay here and that says a lot. The house is very unique. The location and view are wonderful. Having access to kayaks and the paddle boat is a huge draw for this rental. The bird/wildlife exposure is spectacular. We had a few requests upon arrival and the host was very responsive and this made a big difference. Thank you PJ.

Great location on ravine

Had a great time with our two kids here- we had fun on kayaks and paddle boat and exploring in the ravine. Was our first time to clear lake and had a nice time! Lots of great things in the home made this place kid friendly!

Great Experience

Last summer trip before the kids went back to school. We’ve never been to Lakeport or to Clear Lake. This property was just amazing. Steeped with history and family legacy. My wife and I were fascinated with the history of the property. Add to that the phenomenal location right on the water and the incredible design of the home, and suffice it to say the trip was just everything we hoped for. Last but certainly not least, the property manager was responsive, like, replied within 3-5 minutes to any questions we had. This is a 5 out of 5 stay if I’ve ever had one. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great view, direct access to the lake, interesting history and architecture, and great service.

Charming and Fun!

This is a unique and charming home, in a great location! Comfortable for our group, beautiful view of the water and wildlife, all kinds of birds, good fishing and overall, very comfortable. The home is stocked with the things you'd need and we loved sitting on the couch and watching the lake.

The Dome is awesome!

The kids loved the stay here and ran from room to room looking at all the cool attributes of each. The house was so comfortable and right at the water inlet. Our fishing guide even picked us up from the dock! We will stay here when we come.back and highly recommend the property!

This place was amazing !!!! Perfect location and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need and the house was SO CLEAN!!! The sunsets were beautiful . There were games to play and all the beds were super comfortable. Everything was very true to the listing and we are so happy we were able to experience a weekend at the dome!!

We booked this place last minute Labor day weekend. I'm surprised a place like this was still available. My two boys fished all weekend from the docks. They loved it. Caught plenty of fish. Host communication was great. Easy check in and out. We would absolutely stay here again!

A little slice of heaven

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the dome. What a fun and fantastic place to stay. We fished for hours and just relaxed and soaked up all of natures beauty for three days. The place was very clean and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend booking. We will definitely be back when our son is old enough to hold his own fishing pole lol
