This place was so fun for me and my family! It was clean, and stocked well with everything we needed. It was a little tough for my parents to sleep on the bottom floor and have to go upstairs for the bathroom in the night. We would definitely stay again though, it was beautiful and so charming. We also loved how close to town we were.

Cabin was a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Was clean, comfortable and well-equipped, with a lake view. Relaxing in the hot tub overlooking the lake was refreshing.

Excellent Home

The location is fantastic, an easy walk into 'downtown'. House was very clean (I am particular). Being right on the lake is amazing, though it was frozen over while we were there. Hot tub was great (they can be gross). I look forward to hopefully going back this summer.

Wonderful Family Vacation

Love this place. Private house with dock is hard to come by on Payette Lake. Perfect for our group and surf boat. Had a great time. Plenty of balcony and deck seating, paddleboards and pristine view. Typical beach house with large open kitchen. Made memories of a lifetime. Would rent again.

Lake house with amazing sunset view

Older house but well equipped with all the necessities - including a hot tub and large deck. Could use some updating to doors and windows, need some fans but otherwise no complaints.

Best experience ever

Things didn’t go exactly as planned with our first rental when a main water pipe burst and the neighborhood lost running water, but the property management leapt into action and got us relocated into this fabulous house which met all our needs and then some! ❤️❤️❤️

Week on the lake in mccall: location is dreamy but house is not

Being on payette Lake, with a dock is dreamy but our experience in house was not. Checking in, I quickly realized the pictures online made it look much bigger and nicer than it was. It's rustic with carpet everywhere and 1 full bath for 8 people is tight. It felt clean when we got in, but we quickly realized it was not. The biggest bedroom, that slept 4, was infested with some kid of bug or spider. We still can't figure out what but all 4 kids (no one else in the house) woke up covered in bites around their necks and hairline. Panicked, we checked for lice, bed bugs and ticks. We couldn't find any so we went to work spending our vacation days cleaning that room from top to bottom, along with the other rooms. Not the most fun way to spend your family trip. we were surprised to see many cobwebs and many spots under beds and behind furniture/windows that hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. Kids were terrified to sleep there so the majority of trip they slept on couches or bunked up in other rooms. It's an expensive place when you can only use 2 beds. Bites were very itchy so we spent lots of time buying meds & calling drs to figure out what it could be. Sent mess. to management which they didn't return until we were checked out and back home. last night, kids decided to sleep back in room, only to wake up again with bites. Management was nice and apologetic but said they'd call back to compensate us for some of stay.. never heard back. Won't stay again

Spiders love lakefront properties, but this home is treated quarterly as are all lake homes, and we have not had any other complaints or issues so we feel awful that you went through that discomfort. We do show in our records, and feel it is important to future guests to note, that our team did reach out to you several times during your stay and after you departed via text, emails, and phone calls, and they did offer compensation for your frustrations. We are sorry that the communication was not up to your standards, and we understand that finding time for these issues when you are supposed to be on vacation having fun can be difficult. We do hope that you enjoyed your time at this amazing lakefront property in McCall - they are hard to come by and certainly seem to be a favorite! Please feel free to reach out to us any time. Cozy and serene

Such a lovely space to enjoy the gorgeous winter view-- the windows are perfect for taking it all in. Comfortable beds and awonderfully stocked kitchen with high quality utensils. Lots more snow that we expected so we'll look forward to coming back to enjoy the lake on the beautiful balcony, decks, and dock.
