Luxury Mountain Ski Retreat! Large home sleeping 12 in Beech Mountain at Banner Elk. This fully appointed, immaculate home will not disappoint. You can relax with ease knowing everything is turnkey.
This two-story log cabin home features a five-seater hot tub cleaned weekly and a double-deck lounging patio with expansive views of the Mountains. Enjoy the gas fire pit from the cozy, secluded patio or the wood-burning fire pit on site with wood logs prepared for your stay.
The location could not be any better; this home is secluded at the top of the mountain with views galore! Close to the Beech Mountain Country Club and ski slopes. The town features a free sledding hill and snow tubing area.
If you enjoy fishing, check out Buckeye Lake and the recreation center. The lake is fully stocked for trout fishing and is conveniently located just 3 miles away. Boat rentals are available, and there are numerous hiking trails to choose from in the area.
Blue Bear Cabin boasts 2,700 sq. ft. of living space. This three-bedroom home features numerous areas for relaxation. The first floor features a fully furnished game room, ideal for entertaining or spending quality time with the family. Get cozy on the sofa and enjoy the glow of the gas fireplace while watching a movie on the 65-inch smart TV, or gather with friends to play pool on the solid slate table.
Feeling hungry, head up to the second level and entertain in the open kitchen, fully stocked. Enjoy the picturesque views of the mountains from the large windows.
Step out onto the covered deck for some ambiance and turn on the gas fire pit for relaxation, lounging, reading a good book, or savoring a cup of coffee. A brand new Blackstone grill is on site for the person who wants to cook at home. We provide all propane; this is the last thing you want to think about.
Inside, there is a second fireplace and a large dining area boasting exposed pine tongue-and-groove vaulted ceilings. The dining room features a 7-foot table, making game night more enjoyable. All games and puzzles have been stocked for you and your family. So, you don't need to worry about packing them.
Two king-size bedrooms are located on the second floor, one with a master on-suite. Both rooms are fully furnished with high-end bedding and walk-in closets.
The third bedroom features the same luxury bedding and is equipped with two sets of bunk beds, located off the rec room, in addition to a queen-sized bed. Need extra sleeping space? No problem, there is a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room equipped with a gel memory foam mattress. This home comfortably sleeps 12, but sleeping bags are welcome if you need to accommodate a few extra guests.
Lastly, we understand that sometimes work calls. We have the home on WIFI delivered by a 100-meg fiber connection. There is a desk and chair set up for a workspace if you need to work on something at the office.
If you want to leave the mountain for some fun activities, there are always options like tubing and ziplining at Hawks Nest. Or if you are looking for a winery, one is right in town at Benner Elk. There is so much to do or so little, depending on your perspective.

Full access to the entire house, parking is easy with five on the driveway and two at the street

Quiet and peaceful. Enjoy breathtaking views and wildlife, along with plenty of Skiing, hiking trails, and off-road biking, just a short distance to lifts, tubing, brewery, golf, and wineries.

If you are visiting during the winter or snow season, be sure to have Four Wheel Drive or snow ect. button in your car. Getting around the mountains in the winter is difficult if your car is a 2-wheel drive. Please ensure the tires are in good condition. We highly recommend ordering snow chains from Amazon for your trip, in case you need them. They can always be returned.

Home is fully equipped and ready to enjoy as you walk in the door.



Please take the trash to bins on the street and put the flag up. Any trash left out on a patio or in the home may be subject to a fine.


Load dishes in the dishwasher before leaving. Please turn it on so the cycle can start.

Please ensure all fireplaces are turned off with the switch on the wall.

Pets are welcome on a case-by-case basis with pre-approval. There is a $175 pet fee for additional cleaning.
Please be sure to contact us to discuss the dog. We do not allow puppies or cats. We are allergic to cats.

This home is a nonsmoking home. a $250 fee could be assessed if smoking took place in the home for a deep woodwork/carpet cleaning.
