Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. A cozy cabin with a double loft await your stay. Sit comfy by the wood burning fireplace or on the front porch. Watch a breathtaking sunset nearly every evening or enjoy a fire in the outdoor fire pit while relaxing in the peaceful quiet of the country.

Beautiful, tranquil getaway

The cabin was beautifully finished. It was so peaceful and cozy insidr with the wood burning stove. The surrounding environment was gorgeous. We had all we needed for an escape away from the hustle bustle of the city. It was exactly what we hoped for.

Pre Valentines Day Get Away

It’s super cozy. Super cute. It had everything we needed for a nice dinner and a great evening. It’s decorated very well. It had everything we wanted. The cozy wood stove was the highlight of the stay. The hosts communicated fast & were amazing to stay with. We both agreed we would return. Was a nice opportunity to reconnect and recharge together

This is always our go to when we are visiting family. This cabin is serene and quietly overlooks an open field to the west. The host family were very pleasant and accommodating.

Great little getaway spot

The cabin was secluded and lovely, nice firepit area, kitchenette, cute bathroom. The loft bed was a fun addition, makes you feel like a kid. But beware if you're not as limber as you used to be! Great stay, thank you.

Solitude, quiet, very clean!

Check in was easy, Everything was perfectly clean, very nice job in the beautiful layout and decor of the cabin and property. Very private and cosy. Pup was a great companion while sitting by the fire and stargazing. Bed was comfortable, shower was hot, would love to visit in the winter to enjoy the wood stove!

A Quaint Getaway

I enjoyed my stay in the tiny home cabin. The surroundings are quiet, peaceful and serene. It is a private area. The cabin and grounds are well cared for. The cabin may be small but as I discovered, it’s a very solid building. I felt safe in it throughout a severe rain wind and hail storm. I really appreciated the coffee (I forgot to bring it) and the sweet gesture of delicious homemade cake that Sonja personally delivered. Many thanks to the hosts for your hospitality and all of the special touches.

Refreshing Reatreat

I was welcomed with farm freah eggs and apples. The faithful hounds came for evening visits. The pastoral views were so calming. The cabin is so cozy, and well supplied. It was a time of rest, relazation - and reconnecting wth so many friends in the Barrhead area. Overall, a wonderful week!

Xmas bliss

We were wanting a quiet space to unwind and unplug for Christmas, and that is exactly what we got. It was the perfect place for us to rest, relax, and regroup. From the indoor wood burning furnace, to the outdoor private fire pit, our bodies and our hearts were warmed. The furry visits and snuggles was the icing on top! A restful retreat!

Whispering Winds was a wonderfully cozy and tranquil getaway! I wanted a sojourn to disconnect from the hustle and bustle, and that is exactly what I found here. The cabin was clean and beautifully designed, looking straight out of a magazine! I really appreciated all of the personal extra touches, such as fresh baked blueberry muffins, and festive seasonal decor in the way of tiny decorative gourds. 😊🎃 The property itself was beautiful and very peaceful. Daisy and Boone came to say hello! Communication with the owners was prompt and clear and very helpful. I felt very welcome and well taken care of! All in all, a fantastic trip in a beautiful spot!

The coziest getaway!

My husband and I spent part of our wedding trip here and it was a fairytale to say the least. We hope to have a little cabin of our own some day and our stay at Whispering Winds inspired us even more. When we first checked in, the first thing we noticed was the cleanliness. Everything was fresh and tidy and made us feel right at home! There is very close attention to details, big and small. Definitely give this place a visit if you want to get away from the bustling city. The only neighbourly interaction you will encounter is from their two friendly dogs who come and say hi now and then! Thank you again for the memorable stay.

We live on a small acreage with our 3 kids and Boon & Daisy our fur friends. It's been our dream to have some cabin rentals and in late summer of 2021, our one was built and moved into place. The Westlock Community is a great place to live and the close amenities are only an asset to living here!
