What started as a place for our family to come and enjoy one another without distraction, is now a group of venues established (officially founded by John and Linda Shaw in 2018) for the sole purpose of providing a tranquil venue to gather and connect in love and fellowship. Our cozy and chic âMain Optionâ, is a modest quadplex of one bedroom garden apartments Located on Main Street in Downtown Memphis. Main Option is a part of the continued urban development adjacent to both Riverfront Harbor and Uptown neighborhoods and sits directly across from the Soul and Spirits Brewery and around the corner from the Grind City Brewery. Catch a ride to Beale Street on a horse drawn carriage as they past your front door. Or stroll to the historic Slave Haven Underground Railroad Museum behind you. The ease of access to the trolley line makes visiting the Memphis Must-Seeâs a breeze! Hop on the trolley line to enjoy Beale Street nightlife, watch the famed Peabody Ducks conduct their daily Duck Parade, or catch the NBAâS Memphis Grizzlies at the Fed-Ex Forum. Additionally, the trolley line will help you take in a fun night of baseball at the Redbirds Stadium, a delicious BBQ dinner at Rendezvous, or a dinner cruise on the River. Your choices for fun in the city are limitless at this location! The Shawsâ Guest Rental Agreement
This agreement has been created to ensure contract between our guest, and your host(s) is satisfied in a manner that limits liability or harm to either parties.
The Shawsâ were established to provide a venue that sets the stage for a clean, safe, enjoyable, memorable home away from home for travelers. In order to maintain that it has become necessary for us to add this rental agreement for each booking.
Your booking payment is considered acceptance to this agreement acknowledges your acceptance of such. You are encouraged to read.
Because our calendar is blocked for you, and our concierge services begin the instant you book, we have a strict no refund cancellation policy.For this reason it is recommended you purchase trip insurance. However, under special circumstances,we reserve the right to allow you to use paid dates within a year blocking peak dates.
Identification will be required from the booking agent, who must in turn provide The Shawsâ a guest list including names of guests to occupy property in case of Emergency. Our only third party bookings or for companyâs only. We do not accept any payments other than VRBO platform. Any false information provided during booking can be cause for termination. NO CHECKS! DONT ASK!
Minimum age requirement to book any Shawsâ property is 25. No exceptions.
No parties or large events in violation of our Cityâs permit will be allowed at any Shawsâ property. Intimate gatherings are encouraged and supported to sleeping capacity limits only. We can assist in preparation. Quiet hours are 10p.m. to 8 a,m.
Vehicle limits and parking instructions provided must be adhered to. As courtesy, The Shawsâ have provided one steering column lock for you to use as you move about the city. However, we recommend valuable items be removed from your vehicle as we are not liable for any loss.
Smoking of any kind is allowed only in the designated areas. If smoke is detected a fine will be assessed.
Exterior cameras will monitor and record at each location for suspicious activity that disturbs the quiet peace and enjoyment of both our guests and or our community. Social areas are provided on the premises. No loitering outside of those areas will be permitted.
Should it be deemed necessary for ANY police involvement for ANY reason that will be cause for immediate termination of this agreement without any refund or compensation and lead to immediate eviction. Any attempts to chargeback any payments, intimidate, or bribe The Shawsâ will be considered criminally defrauding an Innkeeper and full restitution will be sought. Any attorneys fees incurred will be at guests expense. Further, we will not allow booking agent any further bookings at any Shawsâ property.

We know when you arrive, you will find The Shawsâ to be clean and in order. Even though we dot not charge a cleaning fee, extra steps were taken to ensure the property safe and sanitized.
Please help us keep it just as nice for the next guest by following these simple rules.

Checkout-time is 11 am.

Kitchen and dishes cleaned
Trash bagged and placed in receptacles provided
Dirty towels in shower or bathtubs
