Guest stayed their entire stay happy as pie. Waited until the last day to then request a full refund due to “mold”. Upon a thorough inspection, no mold. Not enjoyable to receive these type of guests looking for a free stay.

Regarding the fencing, there was damage that occurred during the reservation, and our team has already repaired and reinforced it to ensure the yard is fully secure for future guests. We’ve also taken care of the maintenance items you mentioned, including the toilet and faucet, and refreshed any outdoor furniture showing wear. Guest came with pets but didn't put them on the booking. Was not happy to have to pay a pet fee (in the rules). Was not happy to have to show ID (in the rules, like any hotel). Some furniture has been replaced due to guest wear and tear. The yard is kept beautifully and it quite safe for kids, as it was a common place for my autistic son to play. There was no indication this guest was upset until we see this review a month later. In this business when people book not reading the rules, then are unhappy when they are discovered to try to break them (bring pets without paying a fee, or not show ID, have a party, etc) it sadly ends in a review like this. We ask for ID largely to prevent someone from stealing your ID and booking a VRBO. It happens, we stop it. This is the way.
