With an incredible location and more character than you can "shake a stick at", Top of The Elk is in a class all it's own. Originally the site of the Secret Stash which everybody knows, world famous pizza joint and the all around purveyor of "Cool" here in CB. Step inside to a slice of history and get ready to relax. The owners took great care during the remodel to keep the charm and funkiness of the building but bring it up the standards people want in a luxury vacation rental in CB. The main living area is ready to host your family with a comfy sectional to kick back in and watch a movie or just read a good book. This area is open concept with large windows that bring in all of the natural light Colorado is famous for. The dining table is great for the big dinner or family game night. Take a look under the stairs or in the lower game room, there are plenty of games for your group to choose from. 

The kitchen is fully equipped and the large island has seating for 4 additional people. Down the hall on the main floor you will find two bedrooms, each with a queen bed that share a full bath in the hall that even has great views of Mt. Crested Butte!. Off the living up one flight of stairs is the bunk room with 3 twins, a queen, and a full bath with a shower/tub combo. The stairs up to this room even had the turquoise patina preserved on the steps from the old restaurant!

At the rear of the house with it's own private deck is the master suite with king bed, vaulted ceilings, and en-suite bath.  Lay in bed and take in the beautiful views of Mt. CB or sit out on the deck and enjoy an evening cocktail. Come enjoy history and make new memories in an old space!

-Parking for 2 Vehicles in alley behind home. Additional public parking is available in front of the home on a first-come first-serve basis, however be aware of public parking restrictions on Elk Avenue and follow posted signage. Winter parking rules are in effect Nov - April.

Offering clean and safe rental homes has always been our top priority. As always there is no need to come into our offices to check in.  Since the beginning we have had contactless check in where as a guest you go directly to your home and access the property with a code.  Iron Horse has elevated and will continue to place an emphasis on our cleaning practices and policies, along with procedures such as direct check in to limit contact and provide a safe vacation environment.

Highest Standard Cleaning Procedures

All of our vacation rentals and housekeeping properties are thoroughly and professionally cleaned between each stay. Here are some of the steps we take between each visit to ensure your home will be sanitized, clean, and disinfected.
-All of our cleaning and maintenance staff wear gloves and face covers while in our properties.
-All hard surfaces and high touch areas are cleaned with household disinfectant including doorknobs, handles, toilets and faucet knobs, light switches, handrails, remote controls, lockboxes, electronics, thermostats, game areas, furniture, kitchen cabinets and refrigerators, etc.
-Private Hot tubs are ALWAYS cleaned, treated and sanitized before your stay. If there is ever a question of cleanliness our crew is instructed to completely drain and refill the tub in addition to sanitizing. Condo shared hot tubs are maintained by each individual HOA and follow current cleanliness standards.
-All bed and bath linens are laundered on site and installed with care
-Our properties include hand soap, dish soap, and other approved disinfectants for your use
-No Contact Check-Ins - there is no need to come to our office during your stay
