successful return visit

We were here for a lacrosse weekend. This is a great house for multiple family members to be comfortable. The infant could sleep soundly while adults enjoyed family time in the spacious living room. Good cooking facilities.

The best cozy stay!

We loved our time at this house. Even during a cold and rainy spring weekend in Middlebury, we enjoyed the cozy space indoors. It was great to spend time in the living room with our family, catching up with each other. The kitchen has everything you would need. The beds were pretty comfortable. Our favorite was the little reading/office nook off of the living room to enjoy morning coffee and a book. Great location to get into town, to the college, and the athletic fields. Would absolutely stay here again next time we’re in Middlebury!

Comfy Home away from Home

Packed with books and lots of charm, this house has everything you need for a relaxing stay in Middlebury. Unfortunately for us, the weather was too cold to take full advantage of what looks to be a very welcoming backyard patio and grilling area.

Close to Rikert

The Beautiful 4BR House next to Middlebury is indeed that. The house is lovely and comfortable for 8 up to people. There was ample space to dine and lounge. The neighborhood is sweet and close to the center of Middlebury. There are plenty of grocery stores nearby and it was only a 20 minute drive to Rikert (in sunny weather), so very convenient. We happened to be there during the blizzard. A shovel was available to clear the driveway.

Middlebury Winter Week

Thanks for a nice Feb week in Midd! We enjoyed our stay and will look to return to this property again. The location and convenience of being within walking distance to town as well as right off the Middlebury College campus was great. House had all we needed and was very comfortable with lots of charm.

A great stay in total- perfect for family gatherings.

This adorable house was just right for what my family needed. The location was perfect as well- quiet and with easy access to nearby town and walking trails. We very much appreciated how the bedrooms offered plenty of privacy and the shared spaces were very nice as well— I can highly recommend!

A Home to Remember

We so enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. It has been so well cared for an exudes the love and memories of the owners. As a family of eight seniors, we appreciated the warmth and comfort of the home. It is exactly as pictured. Communication with the property owner and the property manager was always friendly and prompt. We would love to come again.

Middlebury At Its Finest

The outside of the house does not do justice for the inside. It was wonderful staying there. Quiet neighborhood, walking distance to downtown, parking for at least 3 vehicles. House had everything you could need - air conditioning, very clean and organized. Very relaxing and able to rest, read and visit easily. Well worth the money. We had a great time. Would rent again! Great property manager to work with.

Very cute and cozy house with a lot of charm. It was clean and convenient. The beds were very comfortable. Next time we visit family in Castletown we wldvlike stay here again.

Excellent, but does not sleep advertised number

This is a beautiful, large home in a fabulous location, but we were frustrated to discover that, despite being advertised as "sleeps 10", it does not, in fact, sleep 10. In fairness, the listing only describes beds for 8, but we assumed that there was something not listed (pull out couch, air mattress, etc) for the last two. Sadly, there was not. The owners were responsive, but two in our group still had to sleep on the floor for our stay. There were also not enough plates or silverware, even for 8. This was remedied the following day. All that being said, we would gladly return with a smaller group or our own air mattresses.

Wonderful home

We loved the house and the neighborhood! Easy walk to downtown and the neighborhood is peaceful and lovely. Great for our group of 8. We cooked a big dinner in the kitchen and found everything that we needed there.

What's not to love about this perfect Middlebury gem? It's in a great neighborhood and just a short walk to campus. The home is thoughtfully appointed. Communication with our host was fantastic. We would love to come back in the future!

Location, location, location! Our home is located in a peaceful neighborhood that borders Middlebury College. Our neighbors are wonderful people who have lived in neighborhood for many years. It is safe, secure and a perfect home to enjoy events at the college or in the charming town.
