Charming efficiency unit with queen size bed. Smart TV's. WIFI is available. Bring your boat to enjoy the beautiful waters of the gulf coast. The beach is a short 5 min walk. Walking distance to restaurants and nightlife. Numerous wild life parks are in the area, three beaches to choose from , our favorite is Blind Pass Park which is 1 1/2 mi from the house. For Disney lovers it is only a 2 hr drive.

A most Wonderful time was had

My wife and I left snowy Vermont in search of sunshine and were not disappointed. We had some wonderful weather (even in January). Our hosts, Cynthia and Martin, were friendly, helpful, and provided us with very clean and quiet accommodations. As advertised, the apartment is not large, but it comes with a screened in lanai, which sort of doubles the size. (My wife turned the lanai into her sewing headquarters.) The property abuts Lemon Bay. They have a pier with a bench that I sat on in the mornings and watched birds, boats, and an occasional porpoise. It is a short walk across the road to the beach. Other than the obvious things we enjoyed the Elsie Quirk Library, Stump Pass Park, Captain Blake [private] boat tours, and the Dearborn Street Farmer's Market. We hardily recommend this apartment and this area of Florida. Jerry and Nancy

Really a fisherman's dream

I booked this cozy cottage for me and my husband for a holiday on the lovely west coast islands in Florida. Communication with owner was excellent. Check in very easy with key safe. Although we arrived at midnight so finding the safe was difficult in the dark. Nice cottage. Comfortable bed. Full kitchen although we only used stove top and fridge. Good size bathroom and very nice shower. Pool lovely. Large. Cool but not cold. Nice to swim in as good depth. Plenty of loungers. Gardens well kept. Best of all was the outside dock. Comfortable bench. Great access to open water. Great fishing. Caught catfish, jacks etc.

Beautiful vacation

Thank you It was such a great stay, beautiful beaches all with in minutes (we drove because we are old and used a lot of stuff on beaches). We tried all the different beaches too. They are clean and beautiful. Warm water this time of year. Clear water. The owners are great people very friendly and helpful The cottage was the perfect size for two people Romantic get away. Our cottage was Clean and had everything we needed. The pool is beautiful and a great way to wrap up your day Really loved the mornings sitting on the dock We were visited by a lot of sea life on the dock But the AM dolphins were the best Bring a puzzle or book to enjoy that screened porch in evening. Or you can go out and enjoy the small town night life Good restaurants but not a commercial city yet. For us it was great peaceful and safe. We will be back in November We felt like family Our family came to visit us while we were there And it was the perfect size for the grand children to go back home after a day at beach.(No babysitting lol). This place is the best little secret ever Thank you Russ and joani

Misleading READ ALL

Very misleading details. Did not get to use the pool at all in 4 days because the property owners were always "piddling" around the property, offering no privacy at all and their dog would growl and bark at us every time we even approached the pool area. It is clear they do not want anyone to use the pool. The hosts only spoke to us once, did not introduce themselves when we arrived but made sure to be nosey the whole time from a distance. The beach access is not nearly as close as described. Its about a half mile walk. The hosts had guests over and they parked a Harley Davidson literally right in front of the entrance door to our rental. We could barely even open the door for the bike being in the way. Then proceeded to crank it up and rev the engine at 10:00pm and it shook the whole entire rental unit and pictures on the wall were vibrating. Very rude. This place is just a money maker for them. It is all thrown together as cheap as possible. The bed was hard as a rock and squeaked badly. The kitchen floor has water under the tile so when you step on it, it splashes nasty water all over you. If you are going only to fish and don't care about using the amenities, then book it. If you want ANY privacy at all or want to use the amenities they list, forget about it. I would just stay away from this rental all together. Location is great, everything else was bare minimum and not worth saving the little bit of money. Spend a little more and get a better one. You will thank me.
