Beautiful Hilltop Home! Conveniently located near Cherry Creek. Family Friendly!

VRBO owner that likes to travel, and wants to share our home state with others. Enjoy Colorful Colorado! About us: We are a family of 6 (4 kids) that now has 2 College Graduates and 2 in College. This is a lived in house. Not a second home. My husband and I both work full time. We decided to VRBO because we are often skiing, camping, and biking on the weekends while enjoying the great outdoors of CO! And visiting our young adult kids living/going to College on the West Coast and the East Coast.
(--and we take a couple of summer and winter trips here and there, and wanted to share our CO home while we are out and about!) Please treat this home the same way you would treat your own home.

This is a spacious home. Comfortable and family friendly. Walking distance to parks, Cherry Creek shopping, near the Cherry Creek bike/walking path to downtown Denver. Enjoy the cool things about Denver from a central location. Can easily take excursions to the Mountains, see a concert at Red Rocks, enjoy all of the festivals in Downtown Denver, but then come home to a quiet and relaxing neighborhood. Welcome note: Make yourself at home! We are happy to have you! Kitchen: Feel free to use anything and everything! Cupboards have spices, tea, baking ingredients… If you see it, you can use it. Condiments in the fridge. Water bottles in the pantry if you’d like to borrow for your hike or walk… Everything can go in the dishwasher including the knives :)
Sun room next to the kitchen: in the drawers under the plants, there are numerous art supplies. Kids, make art, and use anything you’d like!
Outdoor patio: gas grill—feel free to use. There are patio chair cushions in the garage or mud room.
Living rooms/downstairs TV room: check in the game closet for games, do a puzzle, log in to Apple TV or your favorite TV station. (We do not have direct TV or cable. You’ll have to use your own logins. We rarely watch--too much to do inside and outside!)
Downstairs toy bins next to the queen size bed: Kids: feel free to play with all of the toys, and at the end of your stay, if you’d like to take a toy from the bin home as a souvenir, feel free!
5 comfortable, private queen beds (5 bedrooms upstairs), 1 semi-private queen bed in the basement. + bonus sleeping space for larger groups: including a futon in the basement, pull-out couch on the main floor, and bunk beds in the basement to accommodate, making sleeping space up to 18!
And a very adorable, clean cat lives here, Nala. (FYI) (but won't be present during your stay.)
Washer and dryer: available for your use. Detergent next to the dryer.

Enjoy cooking in this house and eating in the dining room or on the patio. (Use the grill!) Or go out to the numerous restaurants/breweries near by. Play games (game closet), crafts for the kids (provided in the "art cabinet"), and get ready to explore the neighborhood!
Short driving distance to all of the "must dos!" of the area: Red Rocks, Hiking, Skiing, Golfing, Downtown Denver 16th Street Mall, Art Museum, Museum of Nature and Science, take a drive to Boulder, Golden, Peak to Peak Highway, Rocky Mountain National Park. Or stay within walking distance and visit the amazing restaurants, bars, and shopping in Cherry Creek. Welcome to Colorful Colorado! (can you tell we love our location and state?!?)
