PETS:

• We allow ONE dog per booking. If you have a second furry friend you would like to bring, message me before booking. Depending on the breed, I may make an exception for an additional fee. Please contact me. Bringing your pet means you agree to the following:

PET RULES:
1. Absolutely no dogs on any furniture.
2. The dog MUST be crated when/if left alone.
3. You will need to clean up after your pet both inside the cabin (hair) and outside. This is not part of the cleaning service.
4. Any and all damage done by your dog will be billed to and paid for by you.

• Booking guests must be at least 23 years of age. Third party bookings are not allowed on VRBO and will not be accepted.

OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE:

• Parking accommodates 3-4 cars. Please plan accordingly.

• Check in and check out times are firm.

• BYO firewood, charcoal, and matches!

• Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am. Please respect this or you'll be asked to vacate.

• Sneaking a cat in or an unauthorized dog or other pet will result in a $200 fee.

• Each bedroom has a closet with plenty of shelves and hangers.

• Basement bedroom does not have a locking door, it is closed off with a barn door.

• The bunk beds are not designed to hold heavy adults. These have a weight limit of 160 pounds per mattress. Do not cram adults into this room or these beds.

• The small road the home is off of connects to a busy, main road. Noise is typically minimal but please be aware.

• We do not offer refunds for weather related events. Please purchase travel insurance.

• We are located in the most beautiful area in Northern Virginia. That said, this is wine country. There will be bugs and other creatures. The home is treated regularly by a local, professional pest control company but please note- it's not possible to make the space entirely pest free all the time.

• Cell coverage is spotty in VA wine country. Connect to the wifi upon arrival to make sure you have coverage. Know your check in details prior to arrival.

• The barn in not accessible for use. Neither is the old tree house.

• The property is not fenced off all the way around. Be aware of children and pets in the yard and around the creek.

• We ask guests to be respectful of our old home. We have done as much as we can to preserve the history-the foundation and the master bedroom floor are originals! We know the home can be odd and quirky in some ways but ask for care and respect when staying there. We want to keep protecting this piece of history!
