The home is beautiful and clean. Perfect spot looking out over the bay. I would definitely book again but next time stay longer! Heather was super helpful and gave me some really good recommendations for places to visit near by.

Perfect getaway

We had an amazing vacation. It is a beautiful property with an amazing view. Close to the beach, but away from the hussel and bussel. Heather, the host, was extremely pleasant to work with and was easy to contact. We are looking forward to future stays here.

Relaxing stay

Quiet community, very close to Ocean City and Assateague. House has beautiful view of marsh and was very comfortable inside for our family of 3.

Summer vacation

Our family had rented this property for the past couple our years and are never disappointed. Beautiful views. Love everything about this place! The property is well taken care of, and clean. Perfect location Our grandchildren love the pool, recreation area.

Great location, quiet getaway

We loved our stay at this property. Beside being very close to our family, it has an awesome view of the bay. Great spot for a peaceful morning coffee. The Security limits access to provide a safe neighborhood but not too intrusive or inconvenient. Excellent communication for our host, Heather.

Labor Day Getaway

I grew up coming to Assateague/OC every summer, so it's such a special place for my family. We hadn't been back for nearly a decade and couldn't have asked for a more perfect stay! The photos seriously do not begin to do justice for how incredible those bay views are! The house was pristine clean, beautiful and super cozy. I loved how much space we had for family time, whether it was game night (tons of games provided) or breakfast together in the spacious kitchen. The community itself also has so many amenities (pools, paddle boats, playground, community center/arcade, fishing/crabbing pier). We loved spending time outside just taking in the views and salty air or walking down to the pier. We certainly found our go-to spot for our next trip to Assateague and can't wait to return soon! Thanks for making our family trip even more special!

Our stay

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. This is our second year staying at your home. We have grands and this is a great location! Lots of things to do! The beach 10 minutes away in each direction. Close to the boardwalk and lots of great restaurants nearby. Frontier town is less than a mile away, with a waterpark, minigolf, camp sites, Ice cream parlor, water rentals. The pool was relaxing. We played ping pong and pool at the game room. Lots of activities at the clubhouse for adults and children! It was great! We will definitely book again for next year! These are only suggestions: It would be nice to have beach buckets/shovels, crab pots, nets, fishing rods, bikes, a grill etc. available for guests to use during the stay. It would be nice to have a list of favorite restaurants and nearby events. May want to invest in better mattresses for guests. My husband and I took turns sleeping on the couch throughout our stay because we both felt like we were sinking/ falling to the center of the bed.

2022 OCMD VACATION

Great experience! Great accommodations! Great location. We have been staying at various homes in the Assateague Pointe community every summer for the past 12 years. This was by far the cleanest home with the nicest accommodations we have stayed in and have verbally recommended it to friends and family. If possible, we would very much like to stay again next year.

Not people friendly

We left at 8:00 am on Friday which was a day early since we were suppose to leave that Saturday. Anything we used was taken care of. The ice cubes were frozen together so we had to buy ice. We never used the stove. The bed had so many squeezes we slept on the sofa. The main issue was the front door. It would not open properly. The sink in the bathroom was unable to use because the faucet was close to the basin that you had to wash each hand individually. This house is not user friendly especially for seniors. Not what I was hoping for

While the owner was pleasant, she has A LOT of rules and guidance, some of which seemed quite extreme for our one night stay during the off season and the large cleaning fee (plus the fee for linens). I would not suggest this for a romantic getaway stay - the inside of the property is fine and the views of the bay are indeed nice, but the property is very small and has some oddities (like the faucet/sink in the bathroom and the covered couches). The listing should have advertised photos of both the outside of the home and the community in which is resides as neither were what I was expecting.

Thanks for your review. Everyone’s feedback is equally important to us, regardless good or bad; fair or unfair. We’ve hosted on Airbnb for over a year and have over 50 5 star reviews. It is our goal continue to provide an amazing experience via Vrbo. A few notes for readers: the home is listed as an Assateage Pointe property (which is the resort community in which you didn’t expect). The size of the home is listed and its cleaning fee. We are upfront regarding linens not being included, when asked if we would be able to accommodate and provide linens we made the arrangements to do so. The house rules/guidance is more or less for you to be able to access the home efficiently, not to be offensive in any fashion. The couch has draped covers (most guests appreciate) that are swapped between stays. The bathroom sink is a high-end/modern, yet still practical and easy to use faucet/sink, pls ref photos. Again, we appreciate the time put into your review for your overnight stay. We wish you and yours all the best. Take care!
