Come stay on the farm where you will be greeted by our friendly dog Lucy, along with Mittens and Pepper, the barn cats, who are part of the welcoming committee. Enjoy meeting JJ, Roxie and Precious (the horses/pony) and likely if weather and time permits, a ride in the Kubota for the kids.

Enjoy this upscale and immaculate apartment in walk-out basement of a lovely equestrian estate. So much sunlight throughout that you will not believe you are in the basement with a total of 7 windows! Private entrance, updated kitchenette, family rm w comfy sectional sofa with recliners, updated bath & laundry access. Relax on the patio, hike up Bull Run Mtn, drop by a brewery or winery or just enjoy watching horses grazing while relaxing. Parks, wineries, breweries, battlefields, concert venues, hospital all within a few minutes. Apartment has air filter that is on 24/7 and is used between visits to purify the air.

The apartment and the patio are what are accessible to guests, along with the mud room where there is a washer and dryer for your convenience.

If you would like to see the horses or walk around the farm, please ask first as we are happy to give you a barn tour but appreciate it if you don’t go near the horses unaccompanied due to safety precautions.

There is a convection oven that both bakes and microwaves, a crock pot, coffee pot, toaster, toaster oven, blender, and a two burner hot plate if requested.

There is a Walmart, Starbucks, Home Depot and many restaurants within 5-10 minutes, You will be pleasantly surprised at how close you are to many amenities, but you will think you’re miles out in the country with the peacefulness that abounds here. Plenty of fabulous restaurants and quaint country towns within 25-30 minutes.

Washington, DC is a 45-55 minutes, there is also a bus stop within 6-7 minutes that will take you to the metro.

The back of the home offers scerenity, beautiful views, and privacy. We hope you will come stay with us!

Perfect location

We thoroughly enoyed our stay at "The Whitehouse." Everything was as described. Very peaceful with a perfect location for visiting Washington without the hassle of traffic and parking issues; taking the excellenct advice of our host we drove to the Vienna metro station and had a peaceful ride into D.C. Our host was very accommodating and let us park our 18 foot cargo tailer on site for our trip duration, others wanted to charge us $50 per day to park it. Also, the homemade banana bread was scrumptious! We would stay here again with no hestitation!

Am truly magnificent place

This beautiful property was everything promised and more. The owner Susie was a joy to work with. She even made us banana bread and left orange juice for our arrival. The views were amazing and we loved her two dogs. The location was perfect close to family and friends! Thank you Susie for a wonderful stay!

Perfect place to recharge

We stayed because we had multiple sports events in the area over the weekend and prefer to stay in condos/townhomes over hotels. This apartment was perfect. Close to lots of restaurants/shopping plus about 20min from the sports center and soccer fields. It was super cozy with a cute well furnished kitchen that included a Keurig machine and complimentary coffee. The owner left some homemade banana bread and orange juice in the fridge for us. The bed was comfy and so was the large sectional in the sitting room. Would def stay again.

This is a beautiful place to stay and located so close to town, you will be amazed you are in the country but feel like you are miles out of the hustle and bustle of the city. This is an amazingly convenient location, just 5 minutes off Interstate 66, 5 minutes from the town of Haymarket, and about 15 minutes to Manassas Battlefield. If you want to see the Nation's Capitol or the many monuments and museums, you are about 50 minutes to Washington, DC. If you want to taste some amazing Virginia wines and craft brews, you are surrounded by a large choice of wineries and breweries located in the stunning Virginia countryside, where you can see the beautiful scenery and foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Many of these venues offer amazing entertainment, food, and fun for all. There are also incredibly fun places for children to go, with a Wild Animal Park within 20 minutes and Great Country Farms located about 60 minutes away
