Relax with the whole family at Oceanview Haven, while enjoying amazing views from the comfort of your home away from home! Oceanview Haven is a luxury, beach-themed townhome just steps away from the stunning Rathtrevor Beach. Just 5 minutes from Downtown Parksville and 20 minutes from Nanaimo makes it the perfect getaway for both sightseers and beach-lovers.
The space
Oceanview Haven is decorated in a beachy-theme, giving off an easy-breezy sense of comfort and relaxation for your stay! The large windows throughout the space give off lots of natural light and all doors and opening windows include screens to allow for the ocean breeze to fill the home.
Living Room
Our comfortable living room has an elevated fireplace and a large sectional sofa to comfortably seat all guests. Enjoy the ocean view from the cushioned window seat or relax in front of the TV.
Bedrooms
Our master bedroom is complete with a king bed, dresser, closet, and desk. The second bedroom contains two twin beds with storage drawers, and a closet.
Kitchen
The full kitchen is the perfect place to cook a delicious meal after a day of fun with the Whirlpool fridge, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. We have all basic cooking tools and utensils you need, including a kettle, toaster, waffle maker, Instant Pot, and Nespresso machine and capsules. We even have a highchair for your little one!
Bathrooms
Both bathrooms have heated floors and glass-doored showers and are stocked with many of the basic necessities like toilet paper, tissues, towels, hand soap, and a hair dryer. The master ensuite bathroom also features a large soaker tub.
Deck
Enjoy the outdoors and the view from our versatile private deck, allowing you to either lounge on the sofa, hang out at the bar table, or cook on the BBQ!
Laundry and Linens
We have a front-load washer and dryer available for your use along with laundry detergent. Soft towels and hand towels are provided for your stay, as well as beach towels. We also have extra pillows and blankets available and an iron and ironing board for your convenience.
Other Amenities
There are 2 TVs, one in the master bedroom and the other in the living room. Our WiFi is available throughout the unit, and the password is written in the guest book for you upon arrival. There are a variety of board games as well as children's toys and books for you to use at your leisure. For young children, we also have play pen. Although Oceanview Haven does not have air conditioning, we have a few portable fans for your use!
The Beach
Rathtrevor Beach provides approximately 2km of a stunning ocean walk along the beautiful sandy beach. At low tide, the beach appears endless, as you can walk for almost a kilometre to the water and high tide is the perfect time to dip your toes in the water or go for a swim.

Getting Here
Oceanview Haven is approximately a 1 hour and 50 minute ferry ride from West Vancouver's Horseshoe Bay terminal to Departure Bay terminal in Nanaimo. Then, from Nanaimo, our home is a short 30-minute drive along the highway. We recommend scheduling ferry reservations ahead of time to avoid waiting in long line-ups, especially during the summer months. More information about ferry reservations can be found on the BC Ferries website.
Accessing the Unit
No keys to lose or return! Oceanview Haven provides secure, keyless entry with an August Smart Lock and keypad. You can lock and unlock the door with your smartphone using a unique virtual key issued to you for the duration of your stay or use the keypad.
Parking
There is one parking stall right in front of the unit, the second one from the end. Additional guest parking is available directly across from the unit-designated parking stalls.
