This cozy log cabin sits on 5 acres of wooded land and features 3-bedrooms, 2-bathrooms, 30-foot ceilings with large windows bringing the outdoors inside. Secluded amongst the oak and pine trees of the Catskill Mountains, you'll be one with nature all year round. The cabin features a wood-burning fire place, second floor loft that overlooks the grand room, kitchen and view of the property, wrap-around deck and outdoor fire pit for beautiful evenings under the stars. The cabin is equipped with a washer-dryer and dishwasher for convenient clean up. Quick 7 minute drive to Windham Mountain Ski Resort, 10 minutes to Elm Ridge and Windham High Peak trails,18 minutes to Hunter Mountain Ski Resort, and a 30 minute drive to Kaaterskill Falls hiking trail through the eclectic town of Tannersville that is home to several unique eateries.
We're dog-friendly! We just ask that the dog is house-trained; no potty in the house or biting on furniture please. Bring ample amount of toys for their entertainment, and please curb your furiend around the cabin. There’s plenty of wooded land for private poo sessions.

Guests will have access to the entire home as well as walks/hikes through the 5 acres. In early spring and fall, there is a natural stream that runs through the land; in winter it freezes to showcase a beautiful dimension on the the natural flow of the land. During winter, Windham experiences significant snow. Outdoor fire pit and furniture may be inaccessible. Please request access to these at the time of booking.
The entry level/walk-in basement is only for storing ski/snowboard and hiking/biking equipment. No other areas including closets are accessible. The shed is where landscape and other tools are stored which are not suitable for children or inexperienced users; no access for guests.
Garbage must be taken at check out and disposed by the guests at the Windham Transfer Station. At this time, no private pick-up is in place.
Do not leave any food or garbage outdoors as this will attract wildlife, and unwanted encounters. Bears, deer, possibly coyotes, and other animals that call the Catskill mountains their home may visit the property. Be alert and aware.
One security camera is located at the exterior of the property.
