Beach block with Private, Heated Pool!

4 bedroom / 2.5 bath house / sleeps 12 on the corner of 78th & Dune in Avalon, NJ.

WALKING DISTANCE to the beach (beach block), the ICONA Resort (right across the street), The Windrift Hotel (1 block away), & the Stone Harbor Recreational Center (with playground, tennis & basketball courts, etc).

HOUSE LAYOUT: 2 story house with 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The first floor includes the kitchen, dining/living space, 2 bedrooms connected by a half bath, 1 full hall bath, and a laundry room. The laundry room has a full size washer & dryer. The second floor has another living space with cathedral ceilings, a wet bar, & access to a deck. Also included on the second floor is a large master suite and the 4th bedroom. Bed sizes are 2 kings, 1 queen, 4 twins, and 2 twin pull-out trundles.

OUTSIDE: The house is located on beach block so just a short walk to the beach. There also is a private, heated POOL. There is an outdoor shower and 2-3 off street parking spots to enjoy it all.

PET POLICY: 1 dog under 20 lbs MAY be allowed. Please get approval from us prior to booking (we will ask for breed & weight info). If approved, there will be an additional pet fee charge of $750 for the week so your dog is able to join you.

LINENS are not provided. Bed linens, towels, toiletries, & beach equipment are not provided. If desired there are several local companies that rent linens, towels and beach equipment such as @ShoreService or you can bring your own.

BEACH TAGS are not included. All persons 12+ must display tags the Friday of Memorial weekend to Monday of Labor Day weekend, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

**CHECK-IN: 3PM / CHECK-OUT: 10AM**

We welcome wedding guests from the surrounding hotels but DO NOT allow parties on the premise.

Post Memorial Day stay

House was a good size for two families, including two young children. Nice pool, heated and great location for beach access and local eateries. The house needs a little work on the exterior, and a fan in the bathroom needs to be replaced, but a good option for us for a wonderful four day stay.

The house is in a perfect location and easy access to both Avalon and Stone Harbor. The furniture and the decor was one of the nicest that we stayed in at the shore. I want suggestion would be to put a powder room on the second floor. The bathroom set up is a little inconvenient but overall was great.

Gem on Dune Drive

Beautiful spotless house! Beautiful beachy decor and newly renovated. The set up was perfect for our family - Adults upstairs and kids downstairs. Huge heated pool. Steps away from the beach. We also enjoyed walking distance to the Icona restaurants and outside beach bar. Definitely a gem on Dune Drive.

Great Stay at the Shore

Our extended family had a great time at this lovely house in Avalon. It was well laid-out for both adults and kids and the pool was especially great. There was a great shallow area which was perfect for our two year old son to play in, while bigger kids and adults enjoyed the rest of the pool. An easy block to the beach and quick drives into either Avalon or Stone Harbor. The only heads up is that it's bright with lots of windows, so we were glad to have sleeping masks for us and black out stick on curtains for the kiddos.

Another amazing week in Avalon

This was our second time staying in this house and we are already planing our third for next year. The house and property were immaculate, recently updated and well taken care of. The location is unbeatable being center island and close to Icona/Windrift and on the beach block. The large pool is a huge bonus as well. Kelly is an incredible host, very accommodating and responsive. I highly recommend this house!

Heaven!

We spent two glorious weeks in this wonderful home. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived, and the decor is gorgeous. We loved the pool and patio area, complete with outdoor shower and grill. The beach just at end of the street is beautiful. Kelly could not possibly have been nicer or more helpful. The three generations of our family had THE BEST vacation and truly did not want to come home. Thank you, Kelly!

Great Location

We had a great stay. The house was very clean. The pool was actually warm. We’ve stayed at many places that listed heated pool when it definitely did not seem heated. The location is great, right in the beach block. The house also sits on Dune Drive which had a bit of traffic, but nothing too loud or distracting. It would be convenient to have a bathroom on the second floor that isn’t in a bed. But otherwise, the house was great. We had a wonderful weekend.

Having a nice pool is a game changer!!

I grew up going to Stone Harbor, had not been back to 7 mile island in almost 10 years. A Alain and Stone Harbor still beautiful albeit more affluent than ever. This house was beautiful and well equipped even including paper towels and toilet paper, very nice to have handy. Lots of room to spread out up and downstairs and the pool area is fabulous. TVs everywhere if you’re into that, and lots of places to sit in and outside and fellowship. Also if you like to cook the kitchen had lots of tools. Only suggestion maybe would be get a better coffee for the non keurig fans. Every minor issue I brought up to the owner/manager was promptly addressed. The only issue they couldn’t fix while we were there was the lighting in and around the pool but we didn’t swim much at night and there are flood lights. Having the hotels next door is actually a benefit if you want convenient dining options. Great loc if you’re more of a Stone Harbor downtown than Avalon fan, it is on 78th so closer to 96th street main area.

Incredible September Week in Avalon

Our family of 5 recently stayed at this property. It was newly renovated and extremely clean. The second floor great room was an awesome place to hang out after a long day on the beach. The large pool is hard to come by in Avalon and was so nice to relax in. Will definitely plan to stay here next year. Kelly was an excellent and accommodating host! Thank you for a great week!

Great spot

This was a wonderful little spot. It’s a very good location with easy access to the beach and a wonderful pool for afternoons with the kids. Proximity to stone harbor is great and the restaurants of Icona were terrific for family dinners. We definitely would’ve appreciated linens and/or beach chairs but the owner was very upfront about that so I certainly can’t dock any points for that. Easy rentals for linens and beach chairs in Avalon for families like ours who absolutely couldn’t fit another item in their car.

Beauty by the beach

We had a great off-season stay at this property. The host was lovely, incredibly responsive, and helpful. We were too early in the year to use the pool, which was a bummer, but that seems to be the case across the board anytime you stay in this area before Memorial Day -- so if you want pool access, verify with the host first. We would love to stay here again.
