Located directly on the Gulf within a true nature preserve, the property is framed by swaying palms, warm Gulf breezes, and tranquil coastal scenery—an ideal setting to relax, reconnect, and unwind.

Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway or a fun coastal vacation, Island Place provides an exceptional blend of comfort, charm, and location. The complex is thoughtfully designed to reflect the historic character of Cedar Key while offering modern conveniences. Guests are perfectly situated next to the city marina and just steps from local restaurants, shops, art galleries, and the grocery store—no car required.

Additional Information:
• Grills are park-style and located at the end of the complex. Please bring your own utensils, charcoal, grill brush, and lighter fluid.
• No boat parking is available onsite. Public boat parking is located one block east or two blocks north, behind the museum.

We all liked staying here. Cedar Key is such a neat little place. This condo is in a great location. Easy walking distance to nearly everything in town. We will definitely consider staying here again when we come back to visit.

fantastic location. excellent owner/neighbors. beautiful sunsets. Everything that you needed for a great vacation was there. In addition, there were a few spices in the cabinets that allowed a great cookout on the charcoal grills.

The property was nice. We enjoyed the beach front deck with the high top table and chairs. Great space! We enjoyed a quiet week until big partiers arrived on Thursday and were yelling, drinking, loudly and disregarding other guests. The other comment is the pillows are terrible. Couldn't wait to get home to have our own pillows. We travel a lot and the pillows really need an upgrade.

Perfect location!

We were right on the water, and within walking distance of most of the areas of interest on Cedar Key. We flew in, rented a golf cart for the week and just enjoyed riding around, exploring the key. The condo was accommodating for the two of us, but I would recommend that the mgmt company go in and do an inventory of household items and restock enough for the five people it states it will sleep.

Peaceful and Quiet

We really enjoyed our stay. It was quiet, even with the bridge work. We walked around town and enjoyed dinner at Steamers each day. Mostly there was just two if us, one night a family member stayed. It was enough room for us. I would recommend this condo and this area.
