Do not stay here

The place is unique and one day may be ready for renters is not now. Knives left out, dangerous footing inside, few lights, and the owner is not stable. I received threatening texts because I did not respond to him. He called us after we left accusing us of leaving candle wax on a plate, wanted me to take a lie detector test. Then went on about what my religious beliefs are. He is scary and I would not recommend this place until the owner is new and the place is finished for rental.

Unique, eclectic, special old church

My husband and I stayed here for one night during this beautiful fall season. Peter met us when we arrived and showed us around and was very accommodating. The layout of the church is wide open. With antiques, unique collectibles, and interesting artifacts that were placed to be aesthetic to the eye. Yes, there were antique knives and antique toy guns, which added to the unique character of this VRBO. The feel of the house is that it is much loved and there is much thought into what goes in it and how it is arranged. the old iron stove made the place very cozy and the beds were very comfortable. Don’t miss taking a hot bath n an old style, cowboy, copper tub. In the morning you’ll get up and you can make your coffee in an antique percolator made of silver. There is not a big stove to cook on, but there is a hot plate. The lighting and the accommodations make this a very special place. However, if you are looking for straight out, luxury, modern, amenities, and perfection, This is not the place for you. There are some ongoing renovations but they are not going on while you are there However, if you are looking for a unique, cozy, ,interesting, and an experience to talk about, this is your place. It is an amazing place for photography as well.
