The power went out on our second day. No water, no power, which means no toilets! We were aware of power issues on the island but were reassured that the solar and generator back up would work. They did not. We eventually had to leave the property because power was not restored and the “maintenance man” was getting verbally and physically threatening towards us. I have been in construction for 40 years and I know when something is not being maintained. That is the description of this property. Blaming the island power source does not exclude you from the responsibility of maintaining service on the property and insuring everything is in working condition and the service people you send are not threatening. This was our honeymoon and it practically ruined everything, if we let it. VRBO needs to do a better job on monitoring and vetting properties.

This place was amazing! The views were breathtaking. Thirteen family members came and we had a great time. During our stay, a hurricane passed north of us and Kristen was fantastic checking in with us to make sure we were okay. She was very responsive and made our stay a memorable experience. Property was very clean and they had plenty of things in the residence (towels, beach items, etc.) for us to use.

Book this place now, Villalee was flat out amazing. The views from every balcony are even better than the pictures show. The house is well stocked with everything you might need. We had 12 people in our group, 7 of them being kids, and we never felt like we were crowded. The location is perfect, just a few minutes from Magens Bay and less than 20 minutes from a Costco-like grocery store.Kristen, the property manager, was fantastic! From the moment we booked, shs was quick to respond to all our questions. She truly made our trip better!

Amazing Home Overlooking Magen's Bay

House has plenty of space for large groups, we had 16 total. Property manager was a good communicator and easy to work with. Views were beautiful. Home was clean and in great repair. Gated neighborhood was great as well. Definitely recommend.

Everything about our stay was nothing short of amazing. The house and the view well exceeded our expectations. The view was absolutely spectacular. Kristen was wonderful from the moment we checked in. She stayed in contact with us throughout our entire stay, ensuring that we had no issues. Great for large families.

This property was amazing and we’d definitely stay there again. For a family of 13, it was the perfect size, as it generally has 4 “wings” Kristen, The property manger was so sweet and very easy to communicate with. The property was out of the busy port area but everything was only 8-17 minutes away. Our favorite part was staying in some of the nights and making dinner while enjoying the beautiful scenery. Just a lovely trip!

The Berry Clan!!

We could not ask for a better vacation! We hail from Northern Maine for our very first week long vacation so we could have time with all 14 but especially the 6 grandchildren before they all are in college. The house is beautiful and met everyone’s needs. The pool was busy and 2 days were spent at Meagan’s Beach which is so very nice! Kristen Hines was so good to work with…our daughter worked with her the most and just really met all our needs. As our oldest grandson wrote in our diary…”Probably closest to heaven you can get while still on earth”Loved it and hope we can come again!

This villa was amazing! The house had more than enough room for our party of 12. We were traveling with multiple families and we all had our space. The outdoor spaces were perfect for catching the breeze, cocktails, and watching the sun set over Magens Bay. We loved our stay at Villalee! Kristen was great to work with! Amazing views and spacious property!

Our group of 12 had a wonderful time at this villa! It’s even better than the pictures and description. We stayed for a full week and it was hard to even leave the grounds. The pool is fabulous, the views are out of this world both day and night, and your so close to Magens Bay. The house was in great condition and very well appointed. It’s beyond spacious with so much room everyone was very comfortable. And Kristen was amazing! She was super responsive, reached out regularly to make sure we were enjoying our stay and didn’t need anything. We LOVED our stay at Villalee and are counting the days until we can return!

So many celebrations!!!

Oh, my! Where do I begin? What a fabulous house! The different levels were perfect for our family. 2 toddlers, 3 teenagers, 9 adults over 3 generations...our 50th anniversary, 2 graduations, 1 birthday with a new home purchase. Kristin was a Godsend! She kept in touch the whole week and was a font of information about the area. The pool was a great place for the family to meet and relax. Everything about this house was incredible for our reunion. Bedrooms were spread out so the families each had their own quiet place and the center rooms were filled with games and so many memories. Thank you Kristin for all you did to make VillaLee our home away from home.

Overall the property and stay was nice. We discovered platform beach on our second day, which is walkable distance from the Villa. This made the stay much better as there were some issues with the pool (see below) The location is a bit far from everything so if your looking for peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle, this would be a good choice. Shuttles/cabs are expensive to get to/from as a lot of the drivers do not want to commute to that side of the island. It's a new listed property and some bugs to be worked out. A heavy sewer smell coming form the septic during the evening hours made it tough to hang on the various porches/decks at night. Some of the rooms ceiling fans are not even wired up to operate. I think it will become a better rental over time. There are some discrepancies with the pool and how it operates, something that should be noted and disclosed on the listing. The pool only operates during certain hours and was not very clean upon arrival. We stayed 9 days and never saw a pool guy out to clean the pool. Kind of a bummer as the infinity pool with the view of Magens Bay was one of the reasons we booked this place. Overall a good place. Kristen was nice, a bit dis organized but her intentions were there.

Thank you for staying Brian. The pool guy comes every Thursday morning. Sometimes early. The pool is not designed for the infinity edge to run continuously. Most pools don’t run 24hrs a day. Especially, in St. Thomas, where the cost of electricity is one of the highest in the nation. Kurt (pool company)did come out and change the timer so the pool would be on during the hours you requested. The septic smell was from a neighbors Villa, which had been taken care of. Our septic is pumped out regularly. All the ceiling fans are in working order. Some do require a remote.

My family of 14 had the BEST stay!!! The photos truly do not do this VRBO justice. The house is even more beautiful in person, with vaulted ceilings, tons of space, and absolutely breathtaking views. The windows throughout the home make it almost impossible not to enjoy yourself, whether you’re relaxing inside or outside.Our group included grandparents, teenagers, and everyone in between, and everyone felt completely comfortable. We woke up early every day just to soak in the views before heading to Magen’s Bay, which was equally incredible. We visited several beaches while in St. Thomas—Sapphire, Trunk Bay, Coki, and more—but Magen’s Bay had something extra special. Being able to admire the bay from sunrise to sunset and then drive just 6 minutes down to enjoy it was amazing.Our grandparents are in their 80s and had no issues with accessibility, which was a huge plus. Kristen also made us feel safe, supported, and well taken care of throughout our stay.The home is in a perfect location for a peaceful, relaxing family getaway. We also enjoyed dinners out in Red Hook and Charlotte Amalie. Since you have to drive most places on the island anyway, we loved staying somewhere more residential instead of downtown.Highly recommend—we will absolutely be back!

This property is amazing, House was large enough for the 12 of us, lots of separate spaces inside and outside. The views of Magens bay were second to none. My kids and their girlfriends absolutely loved it, we didn't want to leave.
