Stunning location just outside the perimeter of Lajitas Resort. The house has incredible views, and there is access to the river immediately next door. Well stocked kitchen. No need to haul groceries all the way down like we did— there are good grocery stores in Terlingua. House was perfect for our family of 7- three adults and four kids. It could use a scrub in a couple of locations, but was otherwise really lovely for us. Owner is incredibly responsive inclusive of responding immediately to me when I got lost trying to find the house. We had a great time.

Great location with lots of potential

The location was convenient to Big Bend National Park and the views into Mexico were beautiful. Price was high considering it needs some work inside and out (broken floor tiles, uneven modeling, missing pickets, insect infestation in the bathroom).Owner of was communicative.

Mountain Biking Weekend

Great house. Solid, spacious and quiet with a big covered back porch and an amazing view. Right next to the resort and an easy mountain bike ride to the State Park trails and the airport trails. Manny was an excellent host. Hope to stay there again next year!

It’s a great time!

We have stayed here twice now. We always go hiking in January. We love the outdoor area and my husband loves the smoker. He has smoked a brisket the past two years and loves the view. Lots of room for our group.

Great location

We loved sitting in the back yard knowing we were looking into Mexico as the sun set. It was beautiful! We built a fire, listened to our favorite Big Bend music and shared memories of our lifetimes. This house allowed all 10 of us to sleep comfortably. We never found a light switch in the downstairs bedroom at the back of the house - lucky we brought flashlights. Other than that and not enough hooks for towels when 4 people are sharing the bathroom, it was a great house. We would love to stay there again!

Amazing Views

We enjoyed our stay so much. The view from the back porch was amazing. The house was perfect for 7 adults and we loved that it was pet friendly as we got to bring our dog along for his first big adventure. I would recommend this house to anyone coming to the area, especially if they need multiple bedrooms. It was great for relaxing after exploring the area during the day.

Hiking Big Bend NP

The house was easy. No issues with check in/out and centrally located to Big Bend National Park. We spent a few days hiking and exploring the area. After long, hot, tiring days, it was great to have a comfortable house to relax at night.

Excellent Stay!

The pictures dont do the home and view justice. We had 4 adults and 6 kids (6-14 years) for Spring Break. We enjoyed the back porch over looking the Rio Grande. The house was clean and well-stocked. We recommend & would definitely stay again.

Property was perfect for 4 couples. The backyard views were incredible. Manny took care of an issue promptly and it was easy to get information from him prior to arrival. Property needs a little face lift, but it was great for making more memories as we viewed some of God's handiwork.

Perfect location

House was in the perfect location by the state park and not that far from the national park. It is fully stocked with everything we needed after long days of hiking. Close to the golf resort with cute restaurant and bar. The WiFi also worked really well which the teenagers appreciated. Wouldn’t recommend for travelers with little kids as the outdoor area had construction debris (wouldn’t recommend littles going to the area in general anyway) if your golfing it’s 2 blocks away If I ever head back that way would for sure stay again.

It is close to Big Bend State Park and the large back patio with a fire pit and great seating was a such a wonderful surprise. The view from the back patio was beautiful and we found ourselves out there every night enjoying it. We have already booked it again for next year!

Really great property, very responsive host

The La Vista property was absolutely perfect. It’s very well situated to the resort if you want to play golf or enjoy the amenities there. The kitchen is well stocked in case you want to cook large meals. The lay out of the house is perfect for privacy and also for hanging out over a meal or games or enjoying the beautiful view on the back porch. I want to go back! Also, the owner is very quick to respond to inquiries (always within the hour, probably within minutes now that I think about it). Would stay there again for sure.
