Das Alnwick Cottage liegt ca. 6 Blocks von der wahrscheinlich schönsten Hauptstraße Kanadas entfernt. Das Haus ist urig und komfortabel. Das Miethaus ist dem Haupthaus angegliedert. Bestehend aus 2 hübsch dekorierten Schlafzimmern, beide mit Doppelbetten. Gemütliches Wohnzimmer, die Küche im Pantry-Stil mit Geräten in Originalgröße sowie allen Extras wie Kaffeemaschine, Mikrowelle, Toaster und Wasserkocher.

1 Badezimmer alle Handtücher, Seifen, Shampoos zur Verfügung gestellt. Eine charmante abgeschirmte Sonnenbank / Carport zum Faulenzen oder Essen in einer fehlerfreien Umgebung. Die schönen Gärten laden zum Verweilen, Grillen auf dem Gasgrill oder Entspannen auf der Terrasse ein. In einer ruhigen Ecke unter dem Apfelbaum können Sie in aller Ruhe lesen oder die vielen Vögel und Eichhörnchen genießen.

Der Hof ist eingezäunt, ideal für Kinder und Haustiere.

Alle Bettwäsche, Handtücher, Geschirr, Gläser usw. werden mitgeliefert. Alles was Sie brauchen könnten.

A cozy, convenient cottage

Alnwick is a small but comfortable cottage with every amenity you can think of. A carport turned into a sun porch gives you more room for dining and relaxing. Guests also have the use of a beautiful back garden. If you are there for the Shaw Festival, it's a 15 - 20 minute walk to the Festival and Royal George Theaters. Pauline is a welcoming hostess, but gives you your privacy. She will also spoil your dogs with homemade treats! We would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic host, location, and property. We were 100% satisfied with our stay at this charming cottage. It is in the perfect location for exploring NOTL and the surrounding area. A timeless oasis

The cottage is warm and inviting. If you are looking for modern minimalist, look elsewhere because the place is filled with art and whimsy but the eclectic mix remains peaceful and soothing. Pauline has considered her guests every need and clearly knows how to host. We were three friends and we stayed for two nights. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and the verything was spotless. The garden was lovely, complete with a friendly hare and chipmunks. Within a fifteen minute walk from "downtown", the location was convenient and quiet. All three of us plan on returning again in the future.

We ditched the theatre to enjoy the beautiful environment!

I had treated my sister to tickets for the theatre and rented this property for our stay. It’s absolutely lovely, to the point that we only stayed for 1/2 of one show and completely ditched the Saturday matinee I had booked. It was so peaceful, private and quiet we decided to eat in, have a few drinks on our private patio. Rabbits, chipmunks, squirrels and so many birds chirping it was a little slice of heaven!

An Absolutely Perfect Week!!

I would give 6 stars, if I could! Pauline was a terrific hostess and looked after all 3 of us (My dogs, Chloe and Red got home made dog biscuits every day) so well. The garden is just beautiful and I wish I could have spent even more time back there. The cottage was perfect for us and the carport gave the dogs even more room to spread out. We are walkers so walked for miles and miles. Wonderful. An easy walk to the main shopping street. We have already booked our next trip!!

Wonderful stay

We absolutely loved Pauline's property. The cottage was quaint, cozy and clean. It provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The sunroom was excellent. It gave us so much more additional room. However the BEST was the outdoor space. We felt we were in secret gardends. Absolutely lovely! Thank you Pauline for sharing your property with us! We will be back !

Sweet little home through the sun room

This was a very sweet little place to stay. The sun room, which we called the lanai was great for dining with family as the kitchen was ideal for 2,the lanai was great for 6.. it was in a great location. I would stay here again

Cottage on King

This was a cozy cottage for our stay in Niagara on the Lake! The cottage was neat and clean and had everything we could need available. It is surrounded by a beautiful and a furnished carport area. If the weather was a little warmer we would have given both a try! Pauline our host, was very accommodating and gave us the full tour of the place and garden before leaving us to our own devices! Definitely a great place to stay!

October getaway

Lovely property. Excellent location. Within walking distance to all the downtown shops, and a short drive to Niagara Falls. Pauline was a gracious host and provided some useful tips. We were four adults, and found the place on the small side, but we were aware that it was cozy prior to our arrival.

Pretty cottage

The property is very pretty, with a lovely garden front and back. The back garden was for our use and had comfortable chairs and loungers to sit and read. The cottage was well equipped and the host left milk and cream in the fridge for our use. Bedrooms were small but comfortable. My only criticism is that the Wifi was very week, and I was not able to access it most of the time.

Adorable, cozy cottage in a great location

From the moment we were warmly greeted by tge host, Pauline, we felt right at home in this lovely, quiet and peaceful cottage. We had our dog with us and he was treated like a special guest, which was very much appreciated. (He wanted to mention he's rating Pauline's homemade busquits a solid 11/10.) It is wonderfuly situated with lots of beautiful places to walk, as well as close to the main street in town if you wanted to leave the car behind. Thanks for a wonderful stay and we hope to return!

We are the Sullivans, Pauline and Clair. We live on the property, which we find very convenient, problems, help with restaurant recommendations, even pet sitting have all been our pleasure to perform.

We originally purchased 659 King Street, for its close proximity to Live theatre and a wonderful golf course. It was originally used by the family as 2 cottages, 1 for guests. After retiring we decided to live in the front cottage and rent the rear cottage as a vacation spot.
