The Coquina Condominiums is a beachfront complex, beautifully appointed with a community pool, a grilling area, a fish-cleaning station, tennis, shuffleboard, and basketball courts for your enjoyment. You'll be just a few minutes from the many coastal wonders of Crescent Beach and Anastasia Island, 13 miles south of downtown St. Augustine, and two miles north of Fort Matanzas National Monument - the grounds of which are home to an 18th century Spanish fort.

Well Equipped. Clean. Great location. Enjoyed our stay. Just an FYI - The Grills were removed from the complex due to some hazard so all your cooking will be done in the kitchen. Hopefully they can get that worked out.

Nice condo good price. Our family has been staying at coquina and Creacent Sandpiper every year for the last 32 years. Best beach in the area. The condo is nice could use a little renovation in lower level bath and upstairs tub drain needs to be cleaned out to drain better . Bedrooms could use some lighting and fans. Other than those things condo has plenty of towels and kitchen supplies. Great vacation as usual Great vacation as usual

Can’t beat Coquina

My boys and I had an absolutely amazing time staying in this beautiful coquina condo. The owner was responsive and helpful. The condo had everything we could want for a comfortable stay. Steps from the pool and ocean and all other notable attractions. One of our best Florida vacations yet! We can’t wait to return and have already started to plan ☺️

Love The Coquina/Not this unit.

This unit needs updating—needs new furniture (living room) and paint on many walls. Also the closets and drawers are a mess and the carpeting on the stairs needs cleaning. I’ve been coming to the Coquina for 42 years and this this only unit I have ever had or seen that was in this kind of disarray. We did have a great vacation regardless.

I'm sorry the unit did not meet your expectations. We had the carpets professionally cleaned 2 weeks before your stay, so I am disappointed to hear that they were not clean. The entire unit was painted last year, so not sure what was wrong with that. New couch was ordered for the living room but has not come in yet. The upstairs king bed is brand new and so is the dresser and side tables. Other than board games, some extra cords for the TV's, and a few place-mats, there shouldn't have been anything in the drawers so I have addressed this with our cleaning crew. Again I am sorry it did not meet your expectations, but I am glad you still had a great vacation regardless.

Very porly maintained condo and deceptive host

We arrived after 4pm to a very dirty uncleaned condo. The place was not as pictured in the VRBO listing. Dirty towels all over, some that looked like they had feces wiped on them. I contacted the host immediately and she apologized and said she would try and get some claener there asap. My wife and I had no choice but to look for other accommodations for the night. And the fact that the place was so dirty and unkept gave an unforgetable first impression. The cleaners arrived just after 6pm as we were finialy leaving to the hotel we were forced to get. When we finally returned to the unit on Monday, after the place was supposed to be cleaned it was unfit to stay in. The shower has mold growing in multiple areas, there was black stains on the ceiling where the air ducts blow out, the carpet was so dirty and stained going up the stairs and all over the second floor. The railing going upstairs was so unsafe that it wobbled 3 inches in both directions if you tried to use it. The chairs in the living room area were the same as the railing with the arms ready to fall off in either direction. The couter top of the kitchen was dropping downward and unsecured in the corner area. The front door would not latch closed without the deadbolt being locked. I had never had an experience like this before with a VRBO property. The host was very deceptive in her actions. Stalling with her responses to my concerns, passing me off to her "manager", who I found out later is her husband. They both

Nice but needs updates

I love the Coquina and we have stayed at the complex two years in a row for spring break. This is the first time we stayed in this condo. Crescent is a quiet, laid back and beautiful area about 30 minutes south of St. Augustine. The pool at the Coquina is not heated so it isn’t very comfortable to swim in during March. The condo is well stocked with kitchen utensils, dishes etc. and there were plenty of bath towels, extra sets of sheets and blankets. The condo is bright and nicely decorated. For the most part the condo was clean except the upstairs bathroom had quite a bit of hair in the corners of the floor by the bathtub. The beds are comfortable as long as you like firm mattresses. The carpet going up the stairs needs a deep clean or replaced. It is very stained and looks dirty. The shower curtain kept falling down because the rod did not fit the shower properly (not a huge deal) and we just put something on the end to hold it up. My biggest disappointment was the living room furniture. The couch and chairs are very uncomfortable. The couch has seen it’s better days and needs replaced. The painting that was done throughout the condo is very messy. It appears to have been done quickly and without any care given to it. No no deal for renters. Overall, the condo serves its purpose but it is definitely nothing fancy - very basic. The price to rent the condo for the week was fair and worth what the condo offered.

We loved Coquina!

We really enjoyed our stay at coquina a202. Fantastic location right on the beach, you can watch the sunrises and sunsets every day. Jessica was very responsive to texts and very helpful. Crescent Beach is a beautiful area of Saint Augustine, the beach is pristine and although it’s at the quieter end of A1A you’re still very close to everything.
