Gut: Sauberkeit, Check-in, Kommunikation und Lage
Nice, clean house, great location and amenties, very strange layout.
The house was very nice, well-appointed and clean—plenty of room with nice outside areas and a firepit. I knew going into this rental that some said the layout was a bit "chopped". They were right. The upstairs is a loft-style arrangement with a very nice bathroom and bedroom. However, the loft is open to downstairs. There is no audio privacy whatsoever. In addition, the HVAC unit that controls upstairs is downstairs. So what this means is that during the winter, all the heat rises to that loft and will run you out of it. Windows had to be left open. This temperature imbalance needs to be addressed. Close the upstairs in and add a mini-split unit.
The downstairs bedrooms do not have closets and are very small. All bathrooms downstairs are located across the house from their respective bedrooms. This requires walking across the living room to the bedrooms. The main bathroom downstairs has privacy glass on one of the doors, but you can still see through it!
Although the home was in excellent shape, the host was great, and the location was superb, the layout of this house was less than ideal.
Some basic thought and construction would make this perfect.
The house, from what I understand was an old office building. It should have been gutted and the interior reframed.
