The house was conveniently located, but lacked several safety measures. The transition pieces from one room to another were either sharp or missing entirely. Many of the floor vents were bent and made for a dangerous walking area in several spots throughout the house. I would not recommend this home if you're traveling with children.

Convenient and Comfortable!

Property was very accommodating for 4 couples. Conveniently located close to the falls, restuarants, and casino. Located in a older neighborhood with a few deserted homes but we were not disappointed with our stay.

Excellent location

Our group loved this home, we were close to everything, was able to walk many places and catch the trolley. We were able to cook breakfast and lunch for 17 people each day. The maintance guy was super friendly and helpful. We would stay here again. Was able to see the fireworks from the porch. Would have liked more dishes but we just bought paper plates and plastic forks.

The house's proximity to the falls is great! 20 minute walk to the NY state park. About an hour walk to the horseshoe falls in Canada. Multiple bike rides right from the house. The aquarium was recently expanded and several of us enjoyed it being only a block away.The neighborhood was quiet but felt a little run down. We didnt have any problems with neighbors or passersby the whole week.The house is definitely old. It was obviously updated recently but it still shows its age. Once we figured out the centeal AC and used the provided window units in the 3rd floor we were comfortable all week, even with a heat advisory for part of our stay. The full trash and a few cigarettes butts in the back of the driveway was concerning on arrival but the trash cans appeared on the street for trash night and we got an extra can some time during the week. This was the biggest item that lead to the below comment on communication.Communcation was always polite but sometimes a little slow. Im not sure if it was the way I phrased things but sometimes specific questions went unanswered. In the end it wasnt a huge deal because the necessities did eventually get taken care of. In the moment the delays could be frustrating. Prior to arrival, communication was great. Several automated and timed messages about check-in, rules, and fun things to do in the area.The listing doesnt mention a dishwasher so we cant fault the owners for us erroneously assuming there was one.

So much space

We had such a great time here. We could hear the falls faintly when sitting on the back deck. On the second floor deck you can actually see the mist from the falls and see over into Canadian side! The rooms were perfect size and plenty of bathrooms to not get in each others way. We had some minor issues and when reaching out the the property manager they were very quick to take care of it. I would highly recommend the house for anyone to stay!

The house had enough space for a great family vacation. I think the table should have been put together so the whole family could have dinner together. The kitchen was beautiful. The showers in the bathroom were dirty. There was only one TV. There was a beehive on the second floor. I have an allergy to bees. The outside garbage can was full when we arrived. It took them a while to come empty it. Overall, I enjoyed having the whole family in one house.

2021 Mini getaway

This was our first stay and visit in early October 2021 to Niagara Falls. I booked this house to accommodate our family of eight and to our surprise the house was spacious for even more people. Everything was literally 5 mins and I mean everything!!!!!!! Walking distance if you may...We all enjoyed our stay (my kids and nephew can't stop raving about how much they enjoyed their visit). I am considering making this an every year tradition. I would highly recommend this home, the pictures are not photo shopped!!!!!!

Lots of rooms for a big group

This house is very close to lots of attractions. You can walk to the aquarium. This house had lots of rooms on 3 different levels. The house overall was clean. There were a few issues though. The nails in some of the floor seam binders stick out and that’s hazardous when your have small children present. Not all the vent plates were secure and were oversized which also caused a hazard. Most of the outlets in the 3rd floor didn’t work. Only one outlet in 2 of the rooms were working, none in the 3rd room. There was glass on the ground in the driveway but not sure how to clear that up if it’s been an issue. There were other minor issues that probably aren’t worth mentioning because overall it was adequate. Lots of space and easy to check in.

We were disappointed in this property! When you enter it looks fine but as we started to unpack we noticed lots of little things. No closets to hang clothes, no clocks, very flat smelly pillows, 1 tv in the entire house, and no iron or ironing board. Also not many outlets for plugging in devices. As the week went on we noticed plenty of bugs, and a lot of bees. At first when we called for fresh towels they exchanged them, then we were told to go to the laundry mat. If you expect us to wash our own towels you should have a washer / dryer. We still had a good time after a trip to Walmart for iron, iron board, fans, pillows, extension cords and a rack to hang clothes on. Pricy trip but these are things that even hotel rooms have.

Less than perfect

Although I was happy to find the home easily and walk into the pre-warmed home, my family and I were afraid to use the two bathrooms and 3 bedrooms up on the third floor due to the rat and mouse droppings on the floor and bed. Being winter time I would think the beds would have blankets, but they did not. Just sheets and a light comforter covered us at night. My mom was cold each night. There were no throws either in the living room. Do not plan on cooking if you have a big group as there is not enough seating or dishes for the size of the home. Niagara Hospitality did not impress with communication prior to arrival or with their lack of apology for the disturbing droppings.

Good experience overall

The house is in a neighborhood that I'd describe is in "transition" - there are a number of large, beautiful old houses that are well kept and have been renovated. But the surrounding blocks do have some boarded up homes/in poor repair and locals who may have been a little questionable. Something we didn't expect and were just more cautious about (we drove everywhere). The house itself has a ton of room and offstreet parking, is clean and well kept...but it seemed a little "buggy" - spiders, centipedes, flies, etc. which we weren't sure were normal or perhaps comes with the territory of the neighborhood. Communication with the property manager was outstanding in the weeks before our visit and during our first 24 hours, making sure our needs were being met. We liked the proximity to the falls and ate at some great local restaurants, including Michaels (Italian) and the Polish Nook, both meals were outstanding. You do have to check restaurants because the family owned ones seemed to be on limited hours and reservations are definitely recommended.

Great location, Poorly remodeled. Dangerous for feet

Pros: Great location. Spacious. Fairly sound-proof (didn’t hear people on the floor above me.) Comfy beds. Great service – attentive, responsive, & fast. I arrived at night & noticed some things missing – salt & pepper, tissues, ice trays, and enough dish soap. All were dropped off the next morning. Cons: Shoddy craftsmanship on the remodel, which sometimes was almost amusing, like the floor between kitchen & dining room (pic.) Unfortunately, it was also dangerous at times, including very sharp edges on vents in 3rd floor hallway & bathroom. (pic.) The shower curtains were too short, making it difficult to not soak the bathroom floor. Showers lacked even a little ledge to put your washcloth, soap, shampoo, etc. The shampoo, bodywash, and hand soap supplied all seemed watered down and even strangely separated (pic.) I thought we could submit pics in reviews, so I had them incorporated, but I don't see a way to upload, unfortunately.

Buyer Beware

We would never recommend this property to anyone. While there are no reviews on VRBO, with the utilization of other modalities, you will find some. The inside of the house does not appear as presented in the pictures. When this was discussed with management they indicated this is because previous guests broke or stole many of the items depicted. There were no kitchen towels and very few hand towels and washcloths. The kitchen has one sauce pan and one small fry pan~ don’t plan on any cooking unless you bring your own. We were told by management the housekeeper had missed the mark on the towels and washcloths. The driveway was laden with glass shards, nails, screws and lag bolts. We ended up with a flat tire having picked up a screw, despite our best efforts to clean up the aforementioned. We were told the landscaper had missed the mark here as well. The floors were very dirty. Feet were black walking barefoot. Had we desired the outdoorsy feeling, we would have opted for tent camping. We returned the first evening to the scent of skunk on the entire first floor. Management advised the area is notorious for skunks. Two of the staircases lacked handrails~ be sure you and your guests are steady on your feet for navigational purposes. The third floor bathrooms lack space for comfortable use of the shower and toilet. The window unit air conditioners do not fit the windows, so there are towels shoved into the open spaces. This repurposed may explain the lack of wash clothes and hand towels. This allowed plenty of bats and bugs to come in and I would suspect water as well, should it rain. The property description boasts a balcony and porch~ both of which lack a stitch of seating. There is one TV on site. While management offered to have housekeeping and landscaping come out to rectify their missed marks, suggested to be while we were out of the house for the day, we were not comfortable with people being in the property while we were not there. Management offered to bring in an ionizer to rid the skunk smell however again we were not comfortable having this done while we were not there. As for the flat tire and lack of cleanliness in the property, management offered a refund of half the cleaning fee~ for something that should have been completed prior to our stay~ and reimbursement for the cost of patching our flat tire. All in all we would suggest folks keep looking for a suitable property for their stay.
