Casual, Comfortable beach house. Sixty second walk from Playa Destilederas, easily the best beach in all of Bahia de Banderas. Comfortable, casual says it all! Yes you can sit on the furniture in your wet bathing suit!

Beach lovers dream. The beach is a 60 second walk and is accessed through a private palapa. The palapa itself is a vacation: lounges, tables and chairs and an infinity pool. The beach is all white sand and very user friendly.

Perfect Escape

Richard's house in the beautiful setting of Playa Destiladeras was everything we were looking for. The house itself is spacious, comfortable, well-equipped, and kept spotlessly clean. The King bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable and we fell in love with the outdoor shower off the master bathroom. The beds in the lower floor bedrooms are too firm for our liking, but our kids got used to them and slept well. Our favourite "room" in the house was the large, palapa-covered terrace on which we lounged and read, ate most meals and barbecued several times. Our thoughtful host, Richard, knew we were arriving late in the evening and made sure we had breakfast supplies for the morning and something to wet are whistles upon arrival. He was very communicative during our inquiry and booking process as well as checking in with us to make sure we had everything we needed once we'd arrived. He also provided lots of information and recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. And then there is Isabella - our housekeeper extraordinaire. She is a lovely, friendly woman who came every day but one to clean the house top to bottom, make sure we had everything we needed, and patiently allowed us to use our rusty Spanish to converse. She is a huge asset to an already pretty perfect spot. The clubhouse and pool on the beach are beautiful and uncrowded, and we loved swimming and boogie boarding as well as exploring the nearby towns without having to put up with town noise.

Outstanding home, outstanding place!

A gorgeous home in a beautiful part of Punta Mitta! Thank you for making our stay so special. We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the clubhouse and beach. The place is perfect, large beautiful home and súper safe. Everything you need for a great holiday. Having Isabella help out and cook for us made it extra special. Don’t think about it twice, this is THE place!

Exceptional location and property in Punta Mita!

Our vacation in Punta Mita was wonderful due to this exceptional property. The location of this spacious home with swimming pool and the amenities in the neighborhood including tennis court, pickle ball courts, workout gym and the “Casa Club” — the club house with an infinity pool and palapa directly on the beach made our week! Richard was super communicative and was helpful with our questions, he went out of his way to assist us and the entire experience was excellent! We cooked at home, walked to some of the restaurants along the beach, and went into the town of Punta Mita for occasional dinners. The beach is beautiful and definitely the longest white sand beach in the area, great for swimming and morning walks. My husband and kids surfed different breaks including Los Veneros break which was a short walk down the beach. The locals were super friendly everywhere we went. We hired a boat to the Marietas Islands — highly recommend the excursion which luckily included whale sighting and snorkeling, coupled with the history of the area. We spent most of our days at the beaches and it was always nice to end the day watching the sunset at the Casa Club or strolling down the beach. We would definitely come back to this amazing spot, thank you Richard for sharing your lovely home with us! the Hodges family

Excellent location and great home

We Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Richard’s. His home is clean, comfortable and well appointed. We didn’t lack for anything. His housekeeper was included and we also hired her for extra cooking which was a game changer. She’s a great cook, made us beach snacks, kept the house spotless. The casa club pool is THE spot. It made the trip. La playa estates is a great place; awesome neighbors in a superb location. We didn’t leave very often but if you want to, there are some good surf beaches nearby and restaurants in La Cruz, 5 min drive away. Richard was there to greet us upon arrival, showed us around, gave tips on local things to do and was always available if we needed anything. Which we really didn’t. I need to work on my Spanish and can’t wait to return. Thanks Richard!

Again. its for beach lovers. Playa Destilideras is a little known beach that is becoming more well known. Still, in the morning you can have the 3 kilometers pretty much to your self. Unlike most of the other beaches, including the Four Seasons and the Ritz Carlton and other properties in that gated area, once you walk off the sand and into the water...you are walking on sand. Not the rocks and coral on other beaches.

Very secure home in a double gated community. I have had the house for over 15 years and there have been no security issues with me or my neighbors.

Pricing includes 4 days of maid service, basic cleaning , laundry, bedding. Isabelle is also an excellent cool. Additional days and meals should be negotiated with her.
