Stone Cottage Guest House at White Rock Lake

Adorable large total guest house with a large bedroom, walk in closet, full shower bathroom with all the essentials provided. Full kitchen with a walk in pantry, full living room and dining room and 2 smart TV's, one in the living room and 1 in the bedroom.
This is a very coveted neighborhood in Dallas because we are on White Rock Lake in the middle of the city. This guesthouse is only 1 block from lake access, trails, picnics, Bath House Cultural Museum, etc. Dallas Arboretum is around the corner too!
Bring your slippers because this is a shoe free guesthouse, keeping it more sanitary for all guests. I have some slippers available too for your convenience. If a washer & dryer is needed, you may use the one in the main house when necessary.

Bright cheery totally equipped getaway in a quiet neighborhood inside Dallas East side.

Extended Stay

We needed a place to stay for a few weeks while we were waiting to move into our new house. This was the perfect spot. Everything we needed and close to the lake for evening walks. Mary Jo is a lovely host and makes sure you have everything you need.

Property was exactly as shown in pictures, nice and clean and in a good neighborhood. Property was also decorated for Christmas which was really nice! Within walking distance to the lake and close to a lot of different places. Checking in was also a breeze, got to meet the owner Mary and she was great to talk to as she showed me around the guest house, very friendly! Absolutely would rent again, recommend it highly to others

The easily-accessible location near Casa Linda and Lakewood is convenient to most Dallas attractions, but is nestled in a quiet neighborhood that seems distant from the bustle of the city. The property is beautiful, well-maintained, and quite comfortable. The host has provided almost everything you need and gave us some great recommendations for restaurants, grocery options, etc. We loved easy access to White Rock Lake’s walking trails. Check-in and check-out were easy and the property was as promised on the website. We will definitely return.

Lovely, spacious place. Mary Jo was a great hostess. The kitchen had everything you needed if you wanted to cook. Fun & comfortable interiors. Great modern bathroom & really comfortable bed. Nice neighborhood & just a short walk to the lake. Close to the Arboretum & good restaurants nearby. Definitely would stay again.

Mari Jo met us when we arrived & gave us a complete tour of the property. My husband & I stayed for our 30th anniversary & couldn’t be more pleased w/ our experience. The lake is a must to see at sunset & only a short walk. We met several of the neighbors & all were very welcoming. There’s easy access to shopping, eating & exploring. Would definitely stay here again!

Soooo much better than a hotel stay

nestled in a quiet neighborhood, this was a wonderful place to start and finish each day. in the morning would make a coffee then head for a several mile walk along the lake. we were close to several eateries, Humble pie bakery, and the Dallas Arboretum. it’s also a fairly short ride from pretty much everywhere else downtown. There’s a beautiful garden area out front and the cottage is shaded and cool for a great night sleep. host provided plenty of details in advance and was always reachable. would happily stay here again

Weekend getaway with my wife

This cottage was perfect for us. We did not want to be stressed by downtown hotels, parking, and traffic. This location in a quiet neighborhood on white rock lake was just the ticket. We had close access to everything g we needed. The access to the lane was great for a little walk and some fresh air. The owner is very gracious and anticipated our needs. Thank you for letting us stay at this property.

Beautiful Cottage

Mary Jo is the quintessential host. We experienced a family loss and Mary Jo ensured that our accommodations were taken care of. The grounds are perfect for anyone with physical handicaps. Easy access shower as well as front door access. You enter through a botanical garden and the cottage is extremely spacious. The bed is very comfortable and the bedroom is huge. To my wife and I, this is the place to stay during all our trips to Dallas. Thank you Mary Jo!
