Cabin Luxary Near Raystown Lake in Peaceful Wooded Area

Margaret’s Getaway built in 2022 is a cabin/lodge style home in a quiet, wooded area minutes from Raystown Lake and the Juniata River. Enjoy the serenity of nature on our property, watch the wildlife from our beautiful wrap-around deck, take a walk around the secluded Raystown Reach development and enjoy the peaceful views all while being a short drive to Huntingdon. There you will find dozens of local restaurants, many interesting things to do from a stroll downtown, catch a movie at the old time theatre, hear some local live music and of course access to multiple grocery options and shopping.

Expect a cozy and comfortable stay at Margaret’s Getaway and you can be assured our home is very well-appointed with all of the amenities you would expect. Curl up on the sofa in the great room and enjoy the ambiance of the fireplace. Cook a gourmet meal in our well-equipped kitchen or take some time to read a novel up in the loft. Family time? Hang out in the family room and play some board games or cards and then head outside to the campfire and make some S’mores or roast some hotdogs.

Margaret’s Getaway features a really cool Arcade Room with a modern day pinball machine and a classic video machine with 60 games! We also have a PS4 in the lower level family room to enjoy on the 55” TV. You will have access to our Mesh Wifi with coverage inside and outside on our property. There are 4 Smart TVs in the house (Master, Living Room, Family Room and Arcade Room) with Direct TV and of course access to your favorite streaming services.

For your information, we have a security camera outside for coverage of the driveway entrance. We also have 2 cameras to monitor our wildlife. There are no cameras inside the house or in areas were you and your family will be hanging out.
