Great gathering place! Come for the sought-after peace and quiet in the Hill Country with a prime location. Easy access to all the desired spots that make the community and surrounding towns, so special. The bright and charming home is newly updated and has a pool. The pool can be heated, there is a charge for the propane used to heat the pool during your stay. Dripping Springs is the home of several family-friendly breweries, distilleries and wineries and a close drive to all of the popular wedding venues. In 2015, The Texas House of Representatives officially designated Dripping Springs as the Wedding Capital of Texas®. Great spot for our family of five. Everybody had plenty of space and the house had everything we needed. Very close to everything and made our first visit to dripping Springs very enjoyable. Highly recommend.

Hi Katie! I understand that would be surprising to know the fee to heat the pool is reserved only for those who choose to do so. I have it listed as many places as are available to me through this platform, as well as mentioning it in the message I send with check in instructions, because I don’t want it to be a surprise. Fantastic stay during a family wedding weekend. Well-appointed, very clean, and cute decor. Bedding was very comfortable and plenty of towels, which is not always the case elsewhere. We did not use the pool but appreciated the option. Highly recommend.

Cute getaway!

I loved this house. We had 7 adults staying here and we all had our own bed. It was beautifully decorated and so comfortable. Plenty of linens to make it cozy with a large table. The outdoor spaces were awesome. We loved the fire pit, but spent most of our time in the pool. The only thing I can "complain" about is there is no ice maker, so bring a bag of ice!!

Great Visit in the Red House!

The property is exactly what you see in the photos. Very clean, comfy and the pool makes it perfect for families. The manager was very easy to talk to and responded quickly. Very close to a grocery store, food options, Deep Eddy Vodka and multiple breweries. Extremely quiet road with the occasional deer who roam around. Definitely would recommend for those visiting the area.

Great Getaway

The home was clean and the layout worked perfectly for our family of 8. We really enjoyed the pool and fire pit area in the back. The large kitchen table was perfect for our meals and playing cards. The owner was very responsive and directions for accessing the property were clear. The only negative was one bedroom was significantly warmer than the rest of the house and we couldn’t regulate the air in that one room. Despite this, we would stay there again next time we visit Dripping Springs.

The house was super cute and in the heart of Dripping Springs. The owner was excellent at communicating. The pool was cute. A cleaning issue was taken care of by the owner immediately. Highly recommended.

Would definitely stay here again!

The house was very clean and bright. There are plenty of sleeping spaces without being too crowded. The hostess was generous and provided pool towels and plenty of bath towels. The hostess was very nice and responded to messages in a timely manner. My friends and I had a great time. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Family Stay

My sisters and I were in town for my niece's wedding and wanted to make it a little bit extra. We had a great time at this nice and well-suited house. The room with the king and the trundle was perfect for my one niece and her family. It allowed the children to go to bed early after a fun day of swimming and playing in the big back yard. The house is great for families, and I would recommend!

Great Location for Pickleball Tournament

We flew to Texas for a pickleball tournament and stayed here for the weekend. The house was very close to the tournament, only 1.4 miles away. It was so easy for us to get to our games! Since our games were at different times, we didn’t all have to go together. We could walk or take an Uber on our own, which was super helpful. The house was nice and had everything we needed. We had a great stay and would recommend it to anyone coming for a tournament nearby!

Was a cute house and for the most part clean, just some little things like a dead bug in the corner, broken blinds in a bedroom, rickety bed in one and cob webs in the corners. The bath tubs could use a bath mat but they were also clean for the most part as well. The back glass could also use a curtain or something since the lock is broken and there are people that live right next door.

Nice house for the weekend

Our family had a nice stay at the house. It is an older house but kept up nicely. We only had two cons for the overall house. First, the door to the 1st bedroom in the hallway does not shut unless you basically shove it. It is very loud to do that and not good for the baby sleeping. Secondly, the house is advertised as having a heated pool but we were not told that we would have to notify the property manager that we wanted it heated and pay an extra fee for that. We paid the fee on our second day and it was heated that day but did not stay heated for our entire stay. Other then those two things, a great place and we would stay again if we ever go back to Dripping Springs.

Hi Kristen, Thank you for letting me know about the door, that’s a relatively easy fix and we will get it adjusted so it closes without having to shove it. I apologize if the information regarding heating the pool was a surprise to you. It is listed under pool amenities, but I will take a look at what the guests see when they book, and see where I can put it more prominently so there’s no confusion. We do like to only charge the cost of propane to accommodate those who would enjoy a heated pool, and also not charge extra (or waste heat resources) to people who don’t care to have the pool heated. I was quick to accommodate your desired hours and temperature of the pool, so I need a little more information to respond to the pool not being heated during your entire stay. If there was an issue during the hours you communicated wanting the pool heated, please let me know so I can address that.

Nice but needs a little love

This property was great for a few reasons: small pool for our little kids that was clean, great large outdoor space, ample parking, tvs in every room. The reasons for my 3 star review will be below but overall it needs some love and is not as nicely put together as it appears in the photos. Many things a handyman could probably fix such as one of the doors in the bedroom does not open or close properly and catches on the floor. The attic ladder is hanging open slightly which caused hot attic air to come through in one of the bedrooms. The floors are not level and you feel bumps/rolls through out the house. Bathtubs are stained and look very used. A few other small things that would have improved the stay a lot: There are larger closest bit no hangers, shelves or drawers anywhere to put your clothes on so our stuff was on the floor in every room. There was dirt and cobwebs throughout the house so a deep cleaning was needed. The laundry soap or dryer sheets were so fragrant we had a hard time sleeping the first night and bought fragrance free laundry soap to rewatch everything. While it was a good space and access to local stuff we wanted to do overall many small things added up to a not stellar review.
