Welcome to Paradise! This beautiful Marathon home on a deep water canal awaits your vacation. This home sleeps 8 people very comfortably. The large master bedroom has a newly renovated en suite bathroom with a stand up shower and a king sized bed. It also has a private balcony off of the bedroom. The guest room has a queen sized bed. There is a 3rd bedroom off the kitchen overlooking the water thay has a murphy bed. There is a queen sized sleeper sofa in the living room.

The backyard is equipped with a fish cleaning station, a large covered outdoor dining area, a grill, and 60 feet of dockage! The backyard is also fully fenced for your privacy and security. There are TV’s in the bedrooms and the living room, and WiFi throughout the home for your entertainment. This community has it’s own boat ramp for easy launch access. This vacation rental includes a Deep Freezer to store all of your bait, fish, and ice for the week. Enjoy watching parrotfish and lobster go by as you have your morning coffee by the water. The long extended driveway boasts plenty of room for your boat trailer or multiple cars. This beautiful home is minutes from tons of shops, restaurants, grocery stores, boat rentals, and more. Book while you can!

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the Yellowtail Escape! Two of the beds were very comfy. The master bed although comfortable, was so very bouncy and squeaked so much that it was a bit hard to stay asleep anytime your partner moved. Backyard was wonderful. Had everything we needed for a great week!

Awesome location

My family enjoyed the house very much. Great location for boating. Cold a/c, clean rooms. Water in the canal is crystal clear. The fishing and snorkeling is epic in Marathon.

Winter getaway.

Everything was as advertised, great location in Marathon . Clean , updated , comfy beds , etc . We would definitely stay there again . One minor issue and Katie was very responsive and had it solved quickly. 5 stars from us !!!

The property manager was friendly and helpful. When reading this rating this keep in mind it’s renting at less than average rates for this type of house. Also I had a beach rental house and I wanted feedback so I give more feedback than most people.The good- we liked the location, close to restaurants, on a canal with direct access to the bay. Beds were comfortable. Sofas were a little older but clean and comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked, grill works. Overall it was clean but some things are worn. Fenced yard was great for our dog. Can’t hear planes inside, you can outside which we like We had a few issues- smoke detector battery alert at 2am & batteries were well hidden , annoying high whining sound that we tracked to plumbing in hall bathroom, stumped plumbers at first but eventually they fixed it. Some things could be improved- sheer curtains on master bedroom let in first am light(we covered them with extra sheets), no lamps except in master bedroom and overhead lights are bright, lots of great bath towels but one washcloth and one hand towel. The rug is showing wear and discoloration. The glass coffee table wobbles I was afraid to let grandkids lean on it to do puzzles. The deck off the master is aged with some sketchy boards and the fan is deteriorating (not safe to use) but the tiki bar is great. Lots of patio chairs. So it needs some tlc but for the price it’s worth staying there. I also suspect the manager will address some of the issues I mentioned above.

Thank you for the review, though we want to clarify a few items for future renters. We have no control on when smoke detector batteries will die. Simply removing the battery stops the beep right away. The bathroom sound was a one-off issue of a toilet valve which we had repaired immediately. All overhead lights in the homes have dimmers on the remotes. There is an abundance of hand towels and wash cloths in the hall closet. The rug is newer. We will tighten the screws on the coffee table. The deck off the master and fan are both older but safe.

Awesome!

Great proximity and quick access to the Gulf for fishing. Close to mid-Marathon for gas, groceries, and other. The home worked well for two couples. Communication with the property manager was excellent. You get use to planes and choppers landing in the back drop. Highlights were the tiki area and regular wildlife including iguanas in the yard and manatee in the channel. Thank you. We will be back!

Florida Keys family getaway

This house on the canal is in a perfect location. It is a great older quintessential Florida home on a clean waterway. The decor is perfect for a beachy trip. All three beds have soft mattresses. The kitchen is well equipped and there are beach chairs (very nice amenity) and bait freezer. The tiki hut is large and provides necessary shade to enjoy the canal and backyard. We did struggle with indoor ants daily. The property manager was receptive to the infestation. We would stay at this home again if the ants were controlled.

this property has a nice location and is on a canal. The house for the most part is good, but needs some repairs to make it better. Found chairs on the deck that are busted. Shower in master bedroom is so slow it almost is useless. The back door is dragging hard and needs repair. Wash machine needs repairs as it keeps shutting down or not starting. Clients should be made aware that the Bugs No see ums are terrible and will really ruin your stay. Could use a better cleaning on fans and frig top. ///

Hi Thomas! Thank you for staying with us. We were aware of the chairs but unfortunately with limited shipping to the keys, the new ones were back ordered. The new ones are there now! The washing machine was replaced this week with a brand new one. All the windows and doors will be brand new in April, as they have been sitting on a cargo ship for 8 months. We truly enjoyed our stay, clean, plenty of beach towels, tiki hut, dockage great! Just need to fix the cracked toilet seat in guest bath, towel holder fell just trying to remove towel. The light situation in the master only worked near the shower, couldn’t get them to turn on by the entrance door. Thanks for an awesome stay!!

Wonderful Location

Wonderful location for bringing our boat to the keys! The location is convenient to grocery and restaurants. The house is updated with new decor. The beds are comfy. The outside patio is a nice area to relax but the chairs around the table need to be replaced. There was one broken chair someone had placed in the corner when we first arrived. Our friend sat down by the table and another chair leg snapped on a different chair. It is a nice patio set but I think it is a manufacture defect on the chairs.

First time vacation in the keys

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here! The house was very clean and right on the canal which we loved. We got to see fish, octopus, and lobster right from the backyard! It was so peaceful and beautiful. We will definitely be back!
