If you enjoy fishing, hunting, riding the ATV and snowmobile trails or attending Packer games- this quaint vacation cottage is the place for you! Located directly on the shore of Green Bay and only a half mile from the marina. Bay View Cottage offers comfortable accommodations for up to 8 guests with modern amenities and fully furnished living spaces. The main floor features a newly remodeled gourmet kitchen with tons of open counter space for prepping your favorite seasonal meals. There is also a cozy living room with a fireplace and a smart TV for streaming your favorite shows. The dining area seats eight and looks out over the yard and bay. Pets are welcomed for an additional $20/ night fee.

You’ll love the peaceful and light-filled sunroom positioned on the lake-facing side of this cottage. This is a great place to relax with morning coffee, a night cap, or just a good book, and it walks out to an open-air deck and a level grassy lawn right on the lakefront.

Bay View can accommodate 8 people. The primary suite has a king-sized bed as well as a lounge area and dedicated desk space. A second bedroom has a queen-sized bed and the final large bedroom has two double beds and a queen. The loft area can sleep 2 additional children (guests must walk through loft area to access two bedrooms).

The fully equipped kitchen includes everything you need for preparing and serving meals- even a dishwasher for easy clean-up! Enjoy views of the lake on the outdoor deck or cozy sunroom.

The home’s level lot, wide drive and large two-car attached garage make it easy to bring and store your vehicles, watercraft and other toys.

Cozy place!

Great place to bring family or friends. Great property on Green Bay. We loved sitting in the sunroom with the fireplace on and reading in the morning. Would love to come back and stay again!

Quiet retreat directly on Lake Michigan

Judy's home in Oconto was the perfect getaway for our small family weekend retreat. My husband and I were looking for a place where we could enjoy nature, spend time together with his parents / brother visiting from England and enjoy some of the natural beauty of the area. The home was well-appointed; the rooms were spacious, kitchen had everything we needed, and the space was really roomy yet cozy for our group of 5. The best part about this property is that it is directly on the lake in a quiet neighborhood that's right next to Breakwater Park and a close drive to Oconto's restaurants and amenities. It's also next to a nature preserve where we hiked over the sunny October weekend. One note: The area is rural and popular with hunters -- we did hear some gunfire in the early hours one morning. But that's to be expected in the area. We'll definitely be staying here again.

Pros: The property was absolutely beautiful and stunning. It is right on the water. The views are breathtaking. The property is very clean. Kitchen is great for cooking and having a big meal - large dining table. The owner was willing to have a banner put up prior to our arrival - above and beond Cons: I originally booked this because it was listed as a 4 bedroom place. The owner reached out a month out and stated the 4th bedroom wouldn’t be done because of some damages they had. By then, everything else in the area was already booked so that left us with no choice but to go with this one. She did offer a 50/night discount and our friend did have to slept on the couch. Right now I see that this property is still listed as a 4 bedroom which is false advertising for anyone looking for something in the near future. I would suggest confirming with the owner that the 4th bedroom is done before booking. Note that one of the bedrooms does not have a door on it so there isn’t any privacy in that room. Also, you have to walk through other bedrooms to access 2 of the bedrooms. You’ll see that Vrbo list the pet fee as a flat $20. The owner sent me a separate contract that I had to sign which stated $20 per night. She was not willing to honor VRBO and charged us $20 per night. While we were there contractors who were working on the house showed up. The guy walked right into the house while my 19 year old was sitting on the couch and our friend was upstairs doing a live podcast. When my 19 stated he needed to leave he said no and forced his way into the house and upstairs. It was very scary for our daughter. The contractor interrupted our friends live podcast on a major network. The contractor proceeded to bring his crew into the garage and started hammering and drilling. My daughter again told them to leave. They refused. When I arrived back at the property I was very forceful with the contractor and told them to get out - all the while our friend was doing this live podcast and picking up the background noise. Complete nightmare! The owner offered an apology but that was the extent. No monetary offer (and refused to return the pet fee). Suggestions for those staying: Don’t forget to pack your own towels - they don’t offer towels to guests. Pack extra blankets as there are very few blankets. Don’t stay here until they are finished with the remodel. Once the remodel is complete it should be a fantastic property.

Unfortunately, this guest experienced some unforeseen events related to our addition project. I have blocked dates on the calendar until the end of December 2021 until the addition of the 3rd bedroom is completed. Something to keep in mind whenever you’re booking through VRBO- it’s important that all information provided is read, as well as the Welcome Guide and Rental Agreement, for details about the property. If you have a pet, please register the pet at time of reservation to be charged the correct $20/ night fee. After doing some research into rentals in this area, I will be providing towels to all future guests.
