Country Living in the City

This is a great location, about 15 min. from the PHX Sky Harbor Airport, with close proximity to ASU, MCC, Cubs and A's spring training, freeways, and restaurants. High 10 ft ceilings, Keyless entry/self check-in and plenty of parking, make it a safe, comfortable stay. No pets, no service animals, no smoking, no vaping, or illegal drugs.

Located in a small rural pocket of Mesa called Lehi, on a 1.7 acre horse property, centrally located, and close to most everything in the Phoenix metro area. This is an 800 SF guest house with a leather sofa, a very comfortable new cal king memory foam mattress in the master and a double high quick self inflating queen air mattress also available. It has a fully equipped kitchen, full bath, and lots of storage for longer term guests. Also, free wifi and a large Samsung smart TV with all of your favorite Apps, so relax and enjoy your private get-a-way!

Enjoy sitting outside on the patio as the gorgeous Arizona sunset calms your mind after an exciting day in Mesa. You may see horses, cows, dogs, chickens, peacocks, birds, and occasionally hear a lawn mower or a tractor. A true country experience. Sleeps 4 with all the necessities of home. Just let us know what you need and we'll do our best to accommodate you. Free laundry service is also available.

Guesthouse Gem

If you’re looking for a clean,comfortable and quiet place to stay,this is it! This guesthouse has absolutely everything you need, is very clean and nicely decorated. The bed is extremely comfortable and the shower has great water pressure.The surroundings are beautiful and make you feel like you’re out in the country with horses,cows and donkeys.There is an outdoor sitting area to enjoy as well. The hosts Marci and Roland are wonderful people and are right there on the property should you need anything. I would go back there in a heartbeat and would highly recommend this guesthouse! Feels like home!

Comfortable unit

The location was perfect for us. It was rural in its setting, but a short distance to the Tempe, Scottsdale areas. The space is very tastefully decorated, with all the amenities we needed and the bed was very comfortable! Would stay here again if we are in the area.

My Mesa Oasis

This property was everything I hoped it would be for my Arizona adventures. Communication with the host was so warm and informative. When I arrived, I could immediately enter the property through the self check-in process. I was delighted with the tasteful decor and the clean and cozy feel. The host thoughtfully supplied everything I needed, and everything I didn't know I needed. A laundry hamper? Genius! I spent about half my vacation at the VRBO and the other half at activities in Phoenix, Mesa, Gilbert, Tucson, and even the Gila Valley. It served as a wonderful base location, as it was close to the highways but removed from the congestion of the city. I loved hearing birds, horses, dogs, and children during my stay. Since I cooked all my meals, I especially appreciated the well-stocked kitchen. It had all of the silverware, flatware, cooking utensils, and cooking ware I needed. The office nook was perfect for my computer setup. The bathroom is beautifully appointed, and after my stay, I decided I needed to get a bidet attachment for my toilet! I slept extremely well in the comfortable bed and had plenty of closet space. I enjoyed hanging out in the living room with the large TV as well. My host was lovely and made sure I had everything I needed. We connected on our love for beautiful music. By the end of the week, it felt like home. I would stay again in a heartbeat!

A little bit of country right in the town of Mesa

Absolutely everything that was explained in the description was spot on. Its a well kept small ranch with horses,chickens and a donkey nearby. Marci and Rolland were very gracious hosts. We enjoyed their company and can feel the pride they have for their little slice of paradise in the country . Amazing sunsets through the silhouettes of trees. We loved our month stay.

Accurate Listing, Friendly Hosts

Marci and Rolland are friendly hosts and Marci is very responsive to text messages. The neighborhood is very quiet (especially for Mesa) though there was really no shaded area in the yard where we could sit out in the fresh air. It was also hard to open the front door for light and air because there was a gap of about 6 inches between the bottom of the screen door and the door sill and we didn’t want to risk any “critters” getting in. The bungalow was very clean. Marci was responsive about bringing bathroom cleaning products as soon as we requested some - since we were staying 2 weeks and wanted to clean at the end of week 1. A suggestion for guests staying longer than a week would be to leave 2 sets of sheets. The owner had to come into the apartment and unlock a closet in the bathroom to give us a second set when we requested it. There were already 2 full sets of towels available. Although a washer/dryer is available in the owner’s garage attached to the apartment, we found it somewhat inconvenient to have to contact the hosts in advance to arrange to do laundry so she could unlock the door between the apartment and garage. Also, the fact there was only the front door for egress in case of fire (the back door was locked) made us a little nervous. Overall, a nice well- appointed bungalow for 2 persons with a very comfortable bed and comfortable living room furniture.

Beautiful outdoor space on acreage. The neighbors had dogs and horses & a couple of mules. Birds singing galore giving us a morning symphony of all our own.
