The house has a garden level outbuilding with 1 bedroom, a sofa bed, a shower room, a lounge and a fitted kitchen (separate WC). The sofa bed is in the living room of the outbuilding.
On the upper floor: the communal areas with a spacious lounge and its fully-equipped kitchen, a convivial dining room and direct access to the terrace. There is also a bedroom and shower room. On the 1st floor, we find the rest of the bedrooms with another bathroom. The bedrooms are well appointed with comfortable beds for a peaceful night's sleep.
There is a large garden ideal for children and adults to play in. A shaded terrace invites you to enjoy outdoor meals and moments of relaxation.

This property is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Our house is ideally located in Gujan-Mestras, close to local attractions such as the fishing port, oyster beds and, of course, the magnificent beaches of the Arcachon Basin. You can also take advantage of the cycle paths and explore the picturesque surroundings.

Place de la Claire is just a 5-minute walk away: baker, hairdresser, crêperie, fruit and vegetable shop, butcher, chemist, wine cellar, florist, café/bar.
In the area there is a chocolate maker who is a meilleur ouvrier de France: chocolats et patisseries Pierre Mirgalet.

91 avenue de Césarée (5 mins by car, 15 mins on foot) has a small centre with quality craftsmen: baker, tobacconist/pmu/press, cheesemonger, fruit and vegetables, butcher/caterer, fishmonger.

Along Avenue de la République you'll find a variety of shops, estate agents (if you fancy the area!) and banks.
I recommend the viennoiseries, Basque cakes and chocolate fondants at Gaetan Le Bellis bakery (a 5-minute walk away, opposite the town hall).

Centre de la Hume supermarket, bakery, cheese shop, hairdresser, florist.

If you're in the mood for quality seafood, delicious oysters fresh from the farm and also available 24 hours a day from the refrigerated vending machine, I recommend La Maison Laban in the street leading to the port of Larros.

Gujan Mestras SNCF station is a 10-minute walk from the accommodation. You can quickly get to Arcachon or Bordeaux, or even Libourne (terminus of some trains).
A bus service called BAIA is available. It serves the whole of the south of the Basin. It connects with the train.
Tickets can be bought on the bus, at tobacconists, tourist offices or online via the baia by my bus application. These tickets also allow you to take the train between Gujan Mestras, Le Teich, La teste de Buch and Arcachon. They are inexpensive and valid for 1 hour.

- This accommodation is non-smoking. Please smoke outside. Please do not throw cigarette butts on the ground. Ashtrays are available.
- Pets are not allowed in the accommodation.
- No wastage of water, we are in a region where water is a precious resource!
- No excessive noise pollution. You are welcome to dine on the terrace and enjoy the patio and pergola, but please do not disturb the neighbours. Our neighbourhood is appreciated for its peace and quiet.
