Enjoy your mountain view getaway in quiet neighborhood on a beautifully wooded lot within 10 minutes from all of the action in Breckenridge! Enjoy the sauna, hot tub, the hammocks, and the fire pit all on property. Our cozy 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath cabin is perfect for 4-5 adults or smaller families.

6 minutes to world class hiking
8 minutes to mountain biking
10 minutes to Downtown Breckenridge / Grocery store / Restaurants
30 minutes to Keystone Ski Resort
60 minutes to Vail

Nestled in a the quiet Sherwood Forest neighborhood with all properties on approximately half acre lots. Just a five minute walk to Hwy 9 and the Summit County bus stop.

The outdoors has many relaxation opportunities. Sit in our gliders and enjoy the stream running through the property, or soak in the hot tub and/or fire up the sauna and enjoy some dry heat after a hike or a day skiing. There are also hammocks on the north side of the lot as well as a cornhole set, pickleball, badminton, and a fire pit (fire restrictions permitting.)

Indoors is an open floor plan with a well equipped kitchen along with two cozy bedrooms. Enjoy radiant floor heating in both bathrooms as well as the wood burning fireplace in the living room. The two bedrooms boast queen beds with new mattresses, and the living room has a modular sofa that can comfortably accommodate 1 adult or two small children. Note: Like many mountain properties, we do not have air conditioning. Feel free to open windows or just step out and enjoy the lovely outdoors.

Looking for a change of scenery for remote working? We are sorry you have to work, but the wifi is great and will accommodate with ease.

We can accommodate up to 6 guests if two of them are smaller children and can share the modular sofa. Please reach out to confirm prior to booking.

We had such a lovely stay at this property! It’s one of my favorites we’ve stayed at in summit county so far. The hot tub and sauna were so nice to have privately on the property and the home itself had everything we needed and wanted! The beds were also very comfortable. This cabin was super cozy, clean & thoughtfully designed. Blue River is a perfect location, with tons of beautiful hiking trails just a short drive away and also still close to town. I loved relaxing in the hot tub and sauna after long days outside. The home was incredibly well stocked and clearly labeled, which made everything so easy. I also appreciated how dog friendly the house was and although I'm a very clean person it was SO nice to not have a long list of chores to tackle before checking out. I would absolutely stay here again—thank you, Amy, for sharing such a wonderful place!

We had an amazing stay at this cabin. The place is exactly as described—cozy, clean, and very well maintained. The private sauna and hot tub were highlights, especially after long days in the cold. The location is perfect: quiet and peaceful, yet just a short drive to Breckenridge.The host was very responsive and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. We also really appreciated how dog-friendly the cabin is. Overall, a fantastic experience and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Our host was so nice and helpful! She replied quickly to us and was more than happy to accommodate our wishes. The hot tub was super clean and the house was too. The cabin is absolutely adorable and cozy, and the property is beautiful and private. The slopes are 10 minutes from the house so that was very nice too. We can’t wait to go back again!

Stayed here a few nights to take advantage of mountain snow. This is a great little cabin away from town. It’s close enough to get to the ski shuttle and is close to downtown Breck. We didn’t even bother going into town. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to make food. The hot tub was clean and we took full advantage of it! The sauna is a nice touch but we didn’t really use it. The bed was cozy with soft sheets and nice pillows and warm blankets. We brought our dog up to, there were treats there for her and an extra bed. Be sure to grab some wood for the fireplace before you get there. We loved this little cabin and hope to be back in the summer so we can enjoy the outside!

Our experience was truly amazing. Very clean and well equiped with just about everything. We stayed here for Christmas with our two dogs and enjoyed every moment. Hot tub was clean and big enough to fit all 4 of us. Sauna worked properly, we only used it once. Short trip to town, about 10 minutes depending on traffic. The fireplace was an awesome touch and they had a Christmas tree set up which was very nice and thoughtful. I give it a 10/10, would stay here again! The host also quickly responded to messages.

Blue River Cabin

Great host and directions to property were good. Easy to get into Breckenridge. Cabin had many food amenities and cooking needs. TV was good but not always live.

Great cabin close to Breck

Cabin is exactly as advertised. It was perfect for our family of 4 plus dog. Proximity to Breck is great. 5 minutes from main st but feels so secluded. Perfect mix. Everything in the cabin worked, it’s well stocked and incredibly clean. Hosts provided great communication and there was no long list of mandatory things to do before leaving, which is a nice touch on the way out. If you like what you see in the listing then you won’t be disappointed!

Bring the whole family on vacation

My husband, our three dogs, and I had the best time at Blue River Cabin. The cabin is well stocked and comfortable. I especially appreciated appreciated all of the hooks available throughout the cabin, which is so helpful for ski clothes, swimsuits, etc. We ate in, cooking most nights, and the kitchen had everything we needed. It's clear how much thought was put into cabin design and amenities.We loved utilizing both the sauna and hot tub. It was a great way to relax at the end of a long ski day! The location to skiing was great. It was a 12 minute drive to the South Gondola Parking lot, which provided easy access to Peak 8 and the opportunity to ski down at the end of the day. This was a Great place to stay. Exactly as described! Clean & great location. We used this as our base to have fun in not only Breck but also Aspen, Vail, Frisco & Glenwood Springs.Owner is quick & easy to communicate with. Little touches like a couple big benches in foyer to drop all your stuff and tons of hooks all over to hang jackets & caps & towels & backpacks. Dog toy left for dogs to play with- my dog LOVED walking into the house & immediately spying that! The barrel sauna was AMAZING. Wished I used it more. Hot tub sparkling clean.Labels everywhere for light switches were much appreciated, as were the labels in the cabinets for dishes & utensils.Couple of the nights we were chilly after being outside all day or got wet from being caught in the rain and turned heat up a bit & it kicked in immediately and became very, very cozy. I can only imagine how lovely & warm it would be there in winter.Good size driveway for our 24 foot RV.It was just myself, my husband & our 2 dogs. It was PERFECT! (Even though it could easily fit a couple more people)!We’ve rented vrbos I think 4 other times around Breck/Blue River, and this was our favorite.

Great place to stay

The cabin was spotless. It was warm and cozy even when the temps hit 0, yes 0. Hot tub was AMAZING (also very clean). Quiet and peaceful area. Perfect for walks in the snow- took some great snow pictures. The cabin was only about 10 minutes to downtown Breckenridge. Amy was always just a text or an email away, and she responded immediately. Book this cabin !

Nice cabin near Breck.

Excellent location near Breck. Comfortable beds, everything you need in the kitchen. Very clean. Gives you that in-the-woods feeling, but very close to civilization. Had issues with sauna, grill but hopefully will be fixed.

Perfect Break near Breck

Me, my wife our two kids and our dog had a wonderful stay. The cabin was perfect, everything was clean, was labeled and organized. I had to do some work while the family explored the Quandary peak area, wifi was great. We had moose in the backyard several times. Amy was very responsive and gave us great info about a mountain biking loop that starts at the end of Blue River Rd near the cabin which was awesome.
