Gathering on the Bend is the perfect spot for family, friends, or a group of fishing buddies. Whether you want to stock the freezer full of fish or just enjoy the view and unwind, this cozy little cabin will not disappoint. Located just 5 miles south of Bill’s Landing and only minutes from Huxley Bay Marina this area is some of the most premiere catfishing territory on Toledo Bend Lake. Considering you have access to your own boat slip and a personal fish cleaning station right at the cabin it will feel as if you have Toledo Bend all to yourself.

Gathering on the Bend is located right on the lake, and we mean… right. on. the. lake. Enjoy your morning coffee while watching the sun rise from the back porch and relax every evening as you hand fish for bass or catfish.

With three bedrooms and two bathrooms you will certainly feel comfortable in this cabin. Consisting of two twin beds in the second room and queen size beds in both the primary bedroom and the third bedroom, it will easily accommodate six people.

The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, a dishwasher, a Keurig drip and pod coffee station, and anything else you may have at home. The dining room table seats six while the living room consists of a full size couch, two lazy boy recliners and a rocking chair. Outside you can enjoy grilling on our built-in charcoal grill, take a tranquil paddling adventure with two 1-person kayaks or relaxing the night away by the fire pit. Feel free to hang out inside and watch tv with Roku, free Wi-Fi access, enjoy the dvd player with movies or play some of our complimentary family board games, or other activities including cards and dominoes.

Located only a mile or two down the road is “Trails End” - a local convenience store that offers not only live bait (minnows, worms, and crickets) but also a full service restaurant and some of the best pizza in a 30 mile radius.

Set GPS for Huxley Bay Marina and when you get to the boat ramp sign in 1500 feet, turn left onto 2481. Turn right onto the dirt road and stop before you drive off into the lake… YOU’RE THERE! Yes, it is that close to the water!
