Beautiful home close to skiing

Home was beautiful & clean, close to nice restaurants & a Dunkin Donnuts for your morning Joe on the way to the slopes. Loved the gas fireplace too, would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay for our visit to PA!

This rental house was great. The whole layout is nice for a group, including the comfortable living room and kitchen/dining area. The large dining table came in handy and was a nice place for everyone to hang out. It was in the perfect location for us, and close to the water.

Long weekend family road trip to the Poconos

Great stay in this beautiful and cozy chalet. It was spacious and had all the amenities we needed for our family of four. Loved the layout of the home and the personal touches. Check in was super simple and the host was great with responding right away.

Great stay

I had a great stay, the house was very clean and had ample amounts of room. It is on a busy road but you don’t notice the traffic while in the house and the location makes up for it. It is conveniently located near restaurants and the lake. The owner was very polite and quick to answer any questions I had. Over all I would highly recommend this house for anyone looking for a nice spot near the lake.

Awesome place

Great stay. Just not used to the sheets not being provided but I guess it’s a PA thing. Other than that amazing place and easy stay.

Nice pleasant stay

Very nice home. It was very clean and comfortable. The location was close to many restaurants and attractions. The home itself is very roomy and the bed was great for a good night sleep. The home was on a main road but we just put our chairs out back for some privacy. The communications with the rental company were timely and helpful. Thanks Tom

3 Generation Summer Getaway

Lovely property, exactly as described. Great floorplan, well appointed. Great location, close to everything. Though right on Rt 6, road noise was not a problem. We rail-biked on the Soarin Eagle, taught our grandkids to kayak, and walked the WL trail. Abby, the property manager, was great- she made everything easy.

Great property

We had a great stay at this property. It's a very short walk to the Visitor Center, walking trail and beach. The house is beautiful, ean and had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. The bedroom with the bunkbeds is listed as having more beds than are acfually in the room. It is one bunkbed and a trundle, not multiple bunks and twin beds.

Thanks for noting that about the listing mistake! I will correct. For any future renters, the bunk room has a bunk bed w/ a twin bed on top, full bed on the bottom & a twin trundle bed that pulls out.

Very clean, spacious

Home was very clean, recently updated. Had a washer and dryer on site which is great when traveling with small kids and at a lake with wet towels and bathing suits !! Only complaint was the noise from the street, but given the location, was unavoidable. The location itself is great, close to everything and was great for Wally Lake Fest, we were able to walk to everything. Highly recommended.

Fourth of July

This house was great and we would definitely stay here again! We were across the street from the public beach on Lake Wallenpaupack which was a great place to watch the fireworks. We were within walking distance to the kayak/SUP rental shop. Dunkin’ Donuts is down the street, grocery stores are conveniently located close by, and Walmart is a 15 min drive away. This house has everything you need for a fun summer weekend getaway. Highly recommend!

Nice house and comfortable stay

The house was depicted accurately in photos. It was very open and airy. My family and I were there for a wedding at a nearby resort and it was very convenient. For the most part it was clean, but there was some furniture with broken handles. The location was very convenient on one of the main roads, across from lake. The kitchen was stocked with everything and the house had an iron that needed for a last minute press for my son’s suit! Pro: Washer dryer in house, Con: Bring paper goods and linens. Overall, a great stay. Thanks!

The property is a fairly new house on a busy street . Nice and clean but no towels or Bed sheets . The place emailed me a few hours prior to check in that there where no towels or bed sheets but we already where there when we received notice . Besides not being able to shower or sleep it was great .

I couldn't be more pleased!

Great location! (Yes it is on a busy road, but once you are inside, you do not even notice it!) The lake is directly across street which made it even better! The house alone was beautiful, everything was neat and very clean! We had everything we needed for a great time. Communication with host was great! Will definitely return!

Nice home, super clean! Close to hiking, brewery and winery. Had a great time!

Found this rental home on VRBO, contacted owner and secured the dates. Lockbox at the premises made checking in super easy! Owner was always helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. Highly recommend.

Clean house with a nice layout in a good location near the lake but not on the lake.

Check went pretty smoothly except for a piercing alarm when we first entered. Quickly found the "silence" button in the bedroom closet. House was lovely, warm and well-stocked. The close proximity to the local brewery and Harmony in the Woods concert venue made our stay as we were in the area for a concert. Lake Wallenpaupak brewery was awesome! Great food and craft beer. (Pumkin beer with sugared rim) :)

Excellent location and renovated rental

Excellent location and renovated rental. It was very clean and full latest amenities. Remtal is managed by a realtor and coordinating and accessibility was pretty smooth. Only caveat is rental cleaning fee and taxes. Rest all is good. Definitely recommend for rental. I booked two rentals near same location for extended family. Both are good!!!

Great Lake vacation

The Helm was clean and comfortable. The house had all the accommodation of home. Washer dryer, air conditioning, and televisions. It was very close to everything we needed to do. Beach, dinner, and ice cream. We will definitely be back!
