Direct Ocean-Front Condo! Amazing Sunrises!

This one bedroom, one-bathroom direct ocean front condo features amazing floor to ceiling sliding door/windows that give visitors unrestricted views of the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy majestic morning sunrises from the private balcony. Maybe even see dolphins swimming by. Located on the no-drive beach, guests have access to beautiful white sand that is perfect for biking, running, and long walks. Make your morning coffee in our convenient Keurig and take your coffee to go. Bathroom totally renovated in February 2021. King mattress replaced in February 2021. Brand new black stainless appliances. New Roku TV in Master bedroom, new flooring in bedroom. Washer/dryer and living room and bedroom furniture updated in January 2022 .

Notes - Sunrise Condos has been under-going an extensive (and expensive) concrete restoration process. All balconies and Sliding glass doors were replaced in 2020 to withstand a category 5 hurricane. That construction process is complete. Around October 2024, construction will begin on the parking garage. The HOA has not given specific details other than it should be about a 6 month project. Working hours are 8am to 5pm and construction ends at 5pm each day. Construction crews typically do not work on rainy days.

At the October 2022 HOA meeting, the board decided to reduce pool heating costs and only heat the pool during Christmas and New Year's. So the pool is now seasonally heated.
If you have any questions about the current state of the building, please message before booking. This is an active condo with full-time residents and things do change. I'm happy to give current information.

We rented this property so we could be with family for a 20 year reunion. We had a beautiful week with family and friends. The views from the balcony were just great and the sunrises were worth getting up early for.

Great Stay

Our stay was wonderful! The weather was a little chilly for being down on the beach, so we stayed most of our time in the unit. The view from the balcony was perfect. Totally ocean front and beautiful. The condo was cozy and inviting. I have stayed in a lot of Vrbo condos and by far this one was the best stocked and supplied with everything you needed. It was clean, cute and would definatly stay again :)

Terrific Beach Getaway

The condo was very clean and the kitchen well equipped. The view from the balcony is fantastic! We love that it is a no drive beach. We spent many hours on the balcony and even saw dolphins swimming by. Michelle was great to work with. We definately plan to return again.

Return Visit

This was the second time that my husband and I have stayed in this unit and it was even better than last time. The unit has been updated with new furniture since our first stay and has a new washer/dryer in unit. We know we will be returning many more times to come :)

We also replaced the HVAC and hot water heater. That took up most of our budget for other cosmetic improvements we wanted to make, but we're always looking for ways to improve. Life is good at Sunrise Condos in NSB, FL

My girlfriend and I had a fantastic time here. It is a small one bedroom condo but the view from the balcony is GRRREAT and it was a perfect early spring get away from NAHAMSHA (lol) Michelle and Alex were good to work with especially when internet router quit working. Took two days for Spectrum to get replacement router to us...But all's well that ends well. Will be going back next April !!!!

Loved everything about the whole experience. Michele was great to work with. I accidentally booked for 2023 and only realized the error within a few weeks of arrival. She went above and beyond! I enquirer about a crockpot(we were traveling with 2 other families staying in the same area) and she went I bought one!!! I would have easily brought my own, but she insisted. The condo itself was beautiful and the location was great. We will be back!!!

Very nice stat

We really enjoyed our stay at Sunrise Condos! The condo was exceptionally clean and we had an amazing view of the ocean and the pool! Everything was very accommodating!!! A few troubles we had were with the air, although it wasn’t bad it never dropped below 73 degrees in the condo. We did reach out to the owners more to ensure that their bill wouldn’t sky rocket due to the air running all the time, but we were comfortable. We struggled with the fitted sheet staying on the bed at night and light coming from the outside hallway, I’d say that if an extra panel was added we would have had no problems at all with that! Overall we enjoyed our stay and can see ourselves returning in the future!

Thank you so much for your review. The HVAC was replaced right after your visit, so the condo has a brand new AC system. I'll check with the cleaner to see which sheets she put on the bed and make sure we have some deep pocket sheets, and we'll address the window treatments. I really appreciate the helpful feedback. Great stay !

My husband and I spent a wonderful time in this cozy apartment with a beautiful beach and ocean view. Being able to stay outside on the balcony and watch the sunrise or be cooled by the ocean breeze in the afternoons was such a treat on these torrid days . Everything is near by : restaurants, grocery stores, shops - we didn’t miss a thing.The apartment is clean and well equipped as well. My husband really appreciated the beach cart he carried his fishing equipment to the beach .He -luckily - caught some fishes just enough for a nice homemade lunch served on the balcony. The hosts were the highlight of our stay as they went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant . We will always remember .Thank you! Word of advice: take your parking permit as soon as possible or call the number on the admin door to avoid potential unpleasant situations involving towing , especially on fully booked days like 4th of July when parking spaces are limited.

Nice place, terrible noise

Property description did not say anything about construction at the building. At 8:01 drilling or jackhammering began and within 20 minutes we were driven from the unit-we couldn’t hold a conversation at the breakfast table. No walking on the beach-rain and wind-so we fled to the library. This was true for all three weekdays. We did not get comfortable occupancy of our rental. We hold VRBO and renter equally responsible for this situation. The unit was otherwise good.

I have not mentioned the construction on our VRBO page because it comes in fits and starts. Sometimes the workers aren't working because of employee shortages due to COVID. Usually, they don't work when it rains, so this guest saying the weather was bad and they were working is unusual to me. Our condo, like pretty much every ocean-front building in Florida since the Miami condo collapse is undergoing concrete restoration. We've had all outward facing concrete and rebar replaced. It's been a long and EXPENSIVE process and work hasn't been steady or consistent, so I'm not sure what guests will encounter when they stay. The condo has strict quiet hours before 8am and after 5pm. I hope this guest realizes that the weather is completely out of my control and he could have contacted me to see I could give them suggestions of things to do when it rains. I can think of quite a few places to go better than the library. Our aim is to keep guests happy, and this guest didn't even give us a chance instead resorting to a one-star review.

We love New Smyrna Beach!

This was our first trip back to New Smyrna Beach in years, and it was wonderful! You won't find any owner easier to work with than Michelle (and Alex). Any time I reached out to her, she got back with me immediately. She really is the best! The condo is as described. The pictures are accurate. We did have a couple of hiccups, but Michelle sprang into action as soon as I contacted her. We are use to a bigger place, but that's because typically there are more than 2 of us. After we got use to the space, we realized for a one-bedroom, it was a good size. Pros: - The owner is wonderful to work with. - The location is incredible. (We love the part of the beach that doesn't allow cars!) - The bed sleeps great! - The keyless entry. - Plenty of towels and linens. (Although we took our own, beach towels are even provided.) - Even in June, the facility didn't seem crowded at all. Cons: Really only one - they are in the middle of construction at the facility, so between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM on weekdays, it gets REALLY loud! This is ok if you can stay on the beach, but if it rains - you need to find something else to do! One night after 5:00, we heard the construction for a short bit, but my husband mentioned that to the office and that was the last of that. We've stayed at MANY beach condos, and I recommend this one. We hope to go back and stay again! Thanks Michelle!

Great place to stay!!

My daughter and I came down to stay and fell in love with beach. It is great for walking on and when the tide goes out you get little sandbars you can hang out on for a little bit and enjoy the water. The pool deck that is right at the beach is wonderful to just sit on and enjoy the view and then hop in the pool. Neither were overloaded with people and even the pool isn't heated in the summer it stays pretty warm. The condo was exceptionally cleaned and very well stocked and organized. The view is perfect. We didn't use the TV but the WiFi worked fine(except for when the cable company cut a line for whole day and there was no cell service or WiFi). There is a close taco stand about half mile down the road called Izzy's and it's great. The Publix is only about 2 miles and other food options are not far either. Crabby's was a good food choice. The mermaid cafe for breakfast was good also. The traffic down towards Crabby's on the weekends is rough so plan accordingly. We went on Monday around 130 and it was no problem. The only issue we had, and this is just a work in process and we understand is the parking. If you park in the parking garage, you will have to walk out the entrance and around it to get to the front of the building. We usually just tried to find a spot on the main parking area instead. There is a loading and unloading area and carts available. Otherwise it is wonderful and I highly recommend it to anyone. It was a great week and look forward to returning 1 day!

The parking garage sustained some cosemetic damage during hurricanes Ian and Nicole and the HOA has decided to postpone that project since the building underwent a very expensive concrete restoration project in 2018-2020. Owners aren't ready for another huge assessment, so the garage will likely be pushed to 2024 or 2025. It is structurally fine, but had the soffits blown off. The surface lot is now open. If any one reading the reviews about construction, please message me if you have questions. The project mentioned in the review may be complete. Message me for the building's current status.

I would love to understand why the guest left this review. In a text message to me, the guest wrote “Thanks beautiful place” This guest did not read the check-in instructions and did have an issue getting in, so maybe that is the reason for the review?

My husband and I originally planned to purchase an investment in south Florida. After searching both Florida coasts and the panhandle, we found New Smyrna. We loved that it was family-friendly and quiet but was within driving distance of attractions like Orlando and Daytona. We now have two condos in NSB and love sharing the area with out guests. We care about guest satisfaction and want to make your visit magical.

Sunrise is the second condo we bought in NSB. We love the ocean front balcony and I watch every sunrise when we visit. Our son loves flamingos, so wanted to name the condo after flamingos.

Amazing ocean front view. I could spend all day on the balcony. I love when the dolphins swim by. We also enjoy exploring central Florida. We fly Allegiant into SFB and can usually find great deals on airfare. It makes for a fun, affordable family trip to the beach.
