Family Friendly Home Centrally Located with Private Yard

Over 80 five-star reviews on other sites! We are new to VBRO, but not new to hosting and making your stay comfortable. This home is in the heart of Springfield on a quiet street near west side shopping/restaurants yet close to downtown nightlife and tourist activities and just a mile from highway access!

Welcome to the Lincoln Lodge!

The living room includes a lazy-boy couch and two antique chairs refurbished by local upholsters. All bedrooms each have new beds/mattresses and two rooms include a desk/chair for working, journaling, or doing your make-up (we’ve included make-up mirrors for you too). Local artist drawings are in the hallway and bathroom. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, baking sheets, spices, olive oil, and a wide selection of teas. We’ve included fresh coffee and a coffee maker. In the backyard, you’ll find a relaxing patio with a couch, dining table, and gas grill during the summer months (May-Oct). We provide a detailed guidebook with more information on places nearby!

The bright white kitchen includes updated cabinetry, butcher-block countertops, lots of natural light, a pantry, full-size appliances, and an eat-in dining table with seating for 4.

A coffee pot and kettle are for you to use along with fresh coffee provided.

The living room features a full-size lazy boy couch, two armchairs, new carpeting, smart TV, wireless charger, and all-natural sunlight streaming through the front bay window. It's beautiful in the morning!

The downstairs features two cozy bedrooms with new Madison Park bedding, ceiling fans, and an updated bathroom with hand-painted tiles and a custom light fixture.

Upstairs is two cedar bedrooms (and the reason behind this home's name "Lincoln Lodge") with new queen beds, mirror, desk and dressing area.

All of this plus these additional amenities and features:

House Rules:

We have a strict policy of no pets, no parties, and no smoking of any kind. We have a 8-guest limit policy. Please note we do not currently allow hosting for non-registered guests. This includes family gatherings, reunions, dinner parties, etc. This is in a residential area, so we ask that you respect the neighbors' privacy in regards to these policies and noise and parking. Please drive slowly and do not block the neighbors' driveway.

If you break or damage something inside the home, you will be responsible for MISSING or DAMAGED item(s) at the replacement cost of the item(s). *Please reach out immediately if anything is broken or damaged* Transparency and communication are key in situations like this.
