Host is always prompt with responses. Renovated primary bath was a huge plus this year! Always enjoy staying here and looking forward to property improvements (hoping the deck furniture is replaced for our next trip).

Beautiful time!

Beautiful, charming home with spacious pool and outdoor area makes for a memorable get away. Home is great for family and friends in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. It is close to restaurants, shopping and entertainment areas. Responsive communication with the owner and easy check in and out procedures. Repeat guest.

Great property and great host!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Everything was as described. Host was very attentive and easy to reach. The pool was the highlight for us. Nice to be able to relax after a day out at the beach or in town. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area

Thanksgiving break getaway

Water was low at pier but our boat was able to dock all week. Lots of comfortable seating area and ease to downtown beach area. Mattresses were 5 stars.

2nd time staying

This is our second summer staying at this house. Amenity wise the house is not lacking. The pool, dock, laundry room and under house living space make this house the gem that it is. The owner is very responsive if ever an issue is to arise. The deck and overall pool area need some attention to bring them back to life, but they are function able. The cleaning crews that are hired to clean after renters hardly clean either. It is very apparent they are in and out as quickly as possible without much effort, but that in no way ruined our stay. We will definitely stay again.

A good value but not as advertised

If you expect the place to look like pictures you will likely be disappointed. Maybe it's a best fit for party-people but a quiet family with modest expectations we were not completely happy. Needs updates and repairs all around along with improvements to accouterments.. Could be outstanding with some TLC. The owner was responsive during our trip but did not appreciate our feedback at the end I am afraid.

Beautiful home. Nice neighborhood. Caught some Red Snapper and Speckled trout offshore in the Gulf. Beds and A/C unit were great !!! Stayed really cold .Pool was nice after hot day fishing. Great place to stay!

Awesome location. Comfortable beds. Neat and clean upstairs. Downstairs kitchen appears to be used as storage. Love having the picnic table at the pool. Would be nice if yard was completely fenced for dog to run around. Planning on coming back next year.

Relaxing Time!

Beautiful, clean and warm home. Outdoor pool and dining area are a great set up for a relaxing time. Enjoyed playing cards and watching TV outside. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Easy access to the home, and close to stores. A repeat guest, and planning to book next year. Highly recommend.

Pictures are wide angle but it was fine for small group

Property could use TLC but everything in description was there. Disappointed when arrived pool was green after letting property manager know that was the main reason for renting his property. Took 3 days to get someone out and then another day to start clearing up. Stay was nice, some items need TLC. Furniture outside rusting, some of deck boards loose, filter on fridge needs replacing-several years old, elevator was great. Overall nice stay-biggest disappointment was the green pool. Oh- there is only one bunk bed with a pull out mattress and it does not hold much weight. Description made it sound like 2 bunk beds. Thank goodness we didn't need that room. No fish or crabs big enough to keep but that was not promised, fun trying though. Very nice quiet place overall would probable refer others.

Sisters birthday trip

Absolutely perfect setting for our home base while adventuring to New Orleans, and the coast in Bay St Louis. Relaxing. Quiet. Caught a crab with the baskets. Perfect pool time. Cozy beds. Movie nights in the outdoor living space. Nice touch
 The elevator that we used to carry up big grocery halls in our luggage. I have a recommended for a couples, small groups and small families. Absolute perfection.

The blue house on the canal

Easy check in. Owner answered questions quickly. Comfortable home with plenty of space for my family of 4 plus our four legged baby. The house is on a canal that had a boat launch [didn't use] and a dock. On the dock 2 crab baskets were there... my daughters caught a couple of crabs each day.. we always threw them back in but it was alot of fun and something we had never experienced. It was also fun having our own pool. Though the water was cold that didnt stop us.. well not the kids... you know how kids are. Hahahah. We used the fire pit once which a little firewood was provided which was nice. Quiet neighborhood about 3 miles to the beach. The only drawback was the vegetation around rhe pool was lush so every morning the pool was full of debris when every evening we would leave it spotless. And the towels and bed linens could be upgraded but wasn't a big deal. The beds were comfortable. Last but certainly not least the house has a stand up video game that has several games to play including pac man and Galaga. I am a Galaga champion so that worked out well for me. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

Relaxing Vacation

This was our second year staying at the blue house and it just as relaxing as the year before. The house was clean, the beds very comfy. We love having two decks to sit in the sun and the outside patio area for shade! My husband is an artist and he uses the downstairs kitchen as a studio!
