## Neighborhood

All the shops you will need for a pleasant stay (pharmacy, bakery, supermarket, fast-food restaurants) are located in the neighbourhood. You can walk to the centre of Nanterre in around 12 minutes, where you should not miss the market held on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday mornings. There is a number of restaurants available, including La Cabane and L'Apostrophe. Visit Mont Valérien, with its fortress and memorial, before taking the RER to Paris. Start your visit at the Arc de Triomphe, the perfect starting point for a tour including all the capital's most emblematic monuments. La Défense and its famous auditorium are less than 25 minutes away.
