The living room, dining area, and kitchen are all combined at Artist Road #31, so your group stays together even when some are cooking, others watching a show on the flat-screen, and the rest working a jigsaw at the big, well-lighted table. There's plenty of room to carve out individual spaces in this arrangement, yet everyone is together, enjoying the precious downtime that is so important to a successful vacation. Let the kids glom onto their phones while the grown-ups chat over a glass of wine and some delicious nibbles. You can stretch out and relax at Artist Road #31!

You'll quickly find your favorite spot in the living room, whether it's the recliner, the rocker chair, or the long, sink-right- in sofa. Or perhaps you enjoy being near the heart of the big, lovely wood-burning fireplace. In winter, you will find cords of firewood waiting for you, and no doubt a cry will go up for s'mores. Save time and pick up the fixings along the way -- dieting is strictly prohibited within these walls!

The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances, utensils, and dishwasher for all your meal prep and serving needs. The chef in your group will be delighted . . . or if that chef is off-duty, remember that downtown Santa Fe, in all its culinary glory, is just minutes away! Even if you just use the space for snacks and leftovers, you'll appreciate how nicely appointed the kitchen is. Easy to brew some coffee, microwave last night's feast, load the dishwasher, and be out the door in no time! Oh -- and did we mention the stacked washer and dryer, ready for loads of clothes?

And the sleeping quarters will please your entire group. The second bedroom is perfect for the younger travelers that accompany you at Artist Road #31. There is a second full bath near this bedroom. This bath has a tub, ideal for smaller children who don't like showers and older folks who appreciate a good long soak after a day on the slopes. All towels and linens are provided for every bed and bath, of course -- all you need do is enjoy!

The primary suite is spacious and restful at Artist Road #31, with a king-size bed, a TV for when the game runs long or you crave a late-night movie and a private phone. Its en-suite bath includes a tub/shower combo and plenty of storage space. But the second bedroom, not to be outdone, offers a split king -- a bed you can connect or separate into twins -- plus its own TV, a handsome roll-top desk, and breathtaking views from the big windows.

As cozy and comfortable as the interior of Artist Road #31 is, you may find that the exterior is your favorite place. There is a covered patio facing the mountains -- with brilliant views of both the sunrise and sunset, not to mention the alpenglow -- that you may just find irresistible. This is the place you'll gravitate to in the morning, half awake, that first cup of coffee in hand. You'll probably want to return at lunch, just to see how the light has changed on the foothills and listen to the birds calling in the chaparral. And in the evening, as shadows lengthen, you'll savor the fresh breezes and quiet beauty of the landscape from your own private nook. It's the perfect place to watch the snow fall or the heat waves shimmer.

Once you arrive at Artist Road #31, your drive time is about over. You can be at Ski Santa Fe in minutes, or you can stroll along any of the hiking trails that begin mere yards from your front back door. If you want to find a new restaurant or do a little window shopping, the Plaza is about six city blocks from the condo. Art galleries, jewelry shops, incredible dining experiences, luxurious spas, and so much more await you in downtown Santa Fe! Day before arrival we were notified that property was not available and were switched to another condo that was “comparable. It was AWFUL. When we complained, manager was able to switch us to another much nicer property.

This was our 2nd time staying here. The kitchen is very well equipped. We locked ourselves out the first day.management was there in less than 10 minutes to unlock the apartment. Every thing is within short driving distance.

Artist Road 31 is a very good condo unit. The only negative of the unit itself is that the AC is very loud when it is on.We received conflicting information about what to bring. For instance we were told to bring coffee filters, coffee, dishwashing liquid, trash bags, toilet paper and blankets. There were sufficient quantities of all of these for our 3-day stay. On the other hand, we were told that there would be an ironing board and iron, toaster, and washing machine/dryer; we didn't need any of them and that's good because there were none of them. My suggestion is to neither oversell nor undersell what is/will be available.We were given a code for the trash bins, but couldn't find them. We called the office and the young man who answered didn't know and told us to just leave it in the condo or at the door. In the end, we put in the bin at the office - a mile and a half away - on our way out when we dropped off the keys.

We had a very nice time. Loved the locations, the views outside the back porch and the hot tub. Recommend - 7-10 min drive to Plaza and Artist's Shops/Galleries on Canyon Road. Comfortable beds, clean and well-stocked kitchen, bathrooms, etc. We'll be back. It would have been nice to know that the dumpster for the trash is offsite at the Kikopelli property where you drop off your keys. Thanks for a great time.

Charming stay minutes from the Plaza

The condo was in an excellent location—quiet and only a short drive from areas of interest, some even within walking distance. The views from the back porch and nearby park were stunning, and the bird feeders off the back porch were a nice touch. The furnishings and decor were pleasant, and the beds were comfortable. We would stay here again!

Nice property. Handy to downtown, but on a pretty steep, long hill. You could go through the park. Pool was great, but only open from 9 to 5 which made it tough to use if out sightseeing durong the day.Had to go to management office to check in and out. Which was not that far, but sort of a pain. Very clean and pretty view.

Santa Fe Condo

We enjoyed our stay! The unit was very clean and comfortable. Quiet location with easy parking and approximately 1 mile walk to downtown Santa Fe. Beautiful walking trail adjacent to the condos leading to city center. Kids loved the pool! Only issue we had was checking in. We arrived late and picked up key from office drop box located away from the unit and unfortunately they left the wrong key to a different unit. To their credit, I was able to call one of the property managers who drove over in the middle of the night and brought the correct key. Another small issue is the forced air heating system is fairly noisy and the guest room is closer to the ceiling unit although this didn’t bother me. Overall a very positive experience. And if we had arrived at more normal time, key issue would have been minor inconvenience. Family all gave it thumbs up.Recommend strongly to property manager get electronic entry door lock with key code.

The stay at number 31 was a very comfortable four days and was within 0.6 of a mile of everything, the mountain was only 25 minutes to the base.

Great location

The condo was in a great location with quick access to old town, the plaza and grocery store. The kitchen has all the tools you need to cook, but nothing in the way of oil, salt, pepper or seasonings, tin foil and so on. It was also a bit inconvenient to have to pick the keys up at the property management office and drop them back off, which is located 7 minutes from the property.

Felt just like home!

My family ( 2 adults, a four year old and 6 year old) were happy to call this comfy condo our home for 5 days during Thanksgiving break. It was only 3 minutes away from all the action of Santa Fe! And it was very quiet, safe, and equipped with everything we needed for a wonderful trip.

Not as peaceful as expected

Arrived late Monday, Tuesday morning awoke to the sound of bulldozers and backhoes outside back patio. . Major construction on road behind patio. Called management company and said they would get back if there were other condos available. Wednesday had pumper trucks, backhoes and more construction. Never heard back from management. Never could sit outside, have coffee and enjoy the spectacular scenery. Ruined a great visit. Condo was clean, organized and functional. Possibly the management company should check with surrounding public issues before confirming a site.

Lovely stay in Santa Fe

The condo was perfect for our stay. We had a conference at La Posada and it was only a 15 minute walk through a lovely park to get to the hotel an old town Santa Fe. We had plenty of room, a nice view and easy parking. The only possible down sides - it is rented by another company so you have to go to their office to get keys. So a little more work than some other rentals. The view is stunning but there is a road under the hill so not totally quiet. We did not find either of these things a problem and would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for our Needs

This property was convenient to everywhere we wanted to go. Parking was more than adequate. Layout of condo was great. Well stocked kitchen in terms of cooking utensils, dinner and glassware, etc. Small hot water heater meant we had to stagger shower and dishwasher schedule but that was okay.

Nice place close to town

This was a nice property within a mile of town. Easy walk if the weather was good. One complaint, the forced air furnace is very loud. Otherwise, well appointed kitchen and comfortable space.
