Thank you for your feedback. I’d like to clarify the circumstances, as accuracy and transparency are important. Our property has firm occupancy and pet policies in place, not only to ensure guest comfort but also to comply with insurance and municipal safety regulations. The reservation was made for two individuals; however, approximately 10 unregistered guests gathered at the property, and a dog was present despite our clearly stated pet policy. While I understand the gathering may have seemed harmless, it constituted a direct breach of the rental agreement. The group was observed consuming alcohol and congregating on the premises without prior notice or authorization. I documented the incident with video evidence and submitted it to VRBO, who reviewed the materials and confirmed my right to terminate the stay. This decision was not made lightly. I take my responsibilities as a host seriously and strive to create an environment that is peaceful, respectful, and aligned with both policy and safety standards. I recognize that this outcome was disappointing, and I was truly upset that it unfolded this way. I’m grateful that the vast majority of my guests are thoughtful, communicative, and respectful of house rules — and I remain committed to offering a high-quality experience to those who are. Thanks
