The home uses well water, which is professionally tested and treated with a water softener, and I also provide 5 gallon jug of spring water for added convenience. Unfortunately, I wasn’t notified by Vrbo of any guest messages during the stay—had I known, I would’ve responded immediately. My phone number is provided for direct contact in case of urgent needs. No phone call. The key access is simple: enter the code, press the button, and remove the key. It seems the guest may have been unfamiliar with this style of lock. Lastly, the guest accessed a locked bedroom that was not reserved and later required an additional fee. I had confirmed in advance that the room wasn’t needed and secured it personally. I strive to provide a great experience and clear communication, and I’m always available to help when contacted directly.

We had the pleasure of hosting Susan and her guests, who were delightful during their stay. However, we received a request from Susan through VRBO for our email address after her stay and later received a threatening email about the condition of the house, demanding a refund. Although we did not receive any complaints during Susan's three-day stay, we appreciate her feedback and would have been happy to address any issues had they been brought to our attention earlier. We always make ourselves available to our guests and are eager to assist with anything they need, as evidenced by us helping her with the smart TV and internet. We had frequent communication with Susan through VRBO and over the phone, but unfortunately, she never mentioned any of these issues. We actually did respond to her email, politely explaining that we were unable to offer a refund, but thanked her for her feedback. We are always open to feedback and strive to provide our guests with the best possible experience. Unfortunately, Susan did not allow us that opportunity, which makes us suspicious of her claims.
