Great property. Clean, well organized. The kitchen had everything you could ever want to cook with. There were 12 of us and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had animal visitors almost every day.

Vermont to Yellowstone 2024

This is the second time we have stayed at this wonderful home. Our school group of 15 enjoyed all the spacious bedrooms, kitchen and recreation area. The location is close to a grocery store and entrance into the park. The perfect place for a large group stay.

Perfect for large group

We were in Montana for a family reunion. The home was large enough to accommodate our party of 17, plus we were able to host dinners for the rest of our family that was staying in another property down the road. It was great that all of the drawers were labeled making it very easy to find things we needed. There were plenty of games and puzzles to keep the kids and adults engaged. We were in walking distance to the Market, and the Flying Pig adventures which we used for the rafting trip (highly recommend).

Great base for visiting Yellowstone

We had 3 families of 4, with kids ranging from 3 to 16. Plus 2 grand parents. The house had plenty of space. The kids loved the bunk room and basement. We were visited every day by an Elk herd with four fawns, in the yard or immediately across the street. House was clean and well stocked. Kitchen was best equipped Vrbo I’ve ever seen. And we used it every day to cook dinner for 14 after visiting the national park each day. Highly recommended!

Perfect Yellowstone Home

This house was amazing! There was plenty of beds & bathrooms for everyone and I loved how nicely labeled everything was in the kitchen to find what you needed! The basement was a great escape for the kids to hang out & play. Everyone enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the elk & deer walk by right in front of us. This house had more animal activity then we saw in the park! The owners were easy to talk to & respond quickly. This town was super cute & a great place to stay close to the park, without being inside it. There is a market to get groceries very close to the house too. Would highly recommend & we would 100% come back & stay here.

Annual Family Trip

We take a yearly family trip of around 17 varying in ages from 5 to 75! It is always more difficult to find a property to meet those needs! This property did that for us. We had plenty of room and variety for all of us. It was minutes into Yellowstone and the entrance was never crowded. The kitchen was well supplied with all appropriate gadgets! There were plenty of beds for all as well, with some to spare. Robert the owner was extremely helpful and available to answer questions. I would truly recommend this property for anyone wanting to spend time in Yellowstone.

Perfect Yellowstone Getaway

The Hammond’s place had everything we needed to enjoy some quality family time. The place was clean with everything neatly labeled and easy to find. The rooms were perfect. Room for everyone in our party to have their own space. The AC units in the room made it simple for everyone to sleep comfortably each night. The yard was serene with frequent visits from the wild elk. Purely majestic. An easy walk to plenty of businesses. Grocery store just down the street. The park is so close it made getting in quick and easy. It was nice to be so close after driving around the park all day. All in all, perfection! Would absolutely stay again!

Family Reunion - North Yellowstone

We had 8 adults and 5 grandchildren (3 are teens), and chose this house because it was close to Yellowstone Park. It is a great location within easy walking distance to Gardiner's restaurants, shops, grocery store, and white water rafting. There is plenty of space to spread out and everything you need to do cooking at the house when you aren't trying out the local restaurants. The grandkids enjoyed sleeping in the bedroom with all the bunk beds, and the upstairs common area by that bedroom let some stay up later to watch a movie while others went to bed. The house is so close to the north entrance of the park that we managed to get everyone up for an early morning drive into Lamar Valley to see the wildlife as the sun came up. This property worked very well for our family reunion. Thank You !!

Perfect House, perfect location!

We came to Montana for a destination wedding for our daughter. This house was perfect for us and extended family. It was super clean and very spacious. The bed in the master bedroom was especially comfy. This house allowed for all of us (14 in total) to spread out and have our own areas to relax. Rob is a super communicator, answering our questions almost instantly. We even had a "welcoming party" upon our arrival... a mama elk and her baby were resting in the backyard! A true Montana special touch! This home is perfect if you plan to spend time inside the park, as it is super close to the entrance. Thanks for everything, Rob! You're an amazing VRBO Host!

30th Birthday Party

Rob is a great communicator and his property was the perfect location for my 30th birthday party. With so many people gathering, I thought finding a spot that could easily accommodate around 20 would be difficult. However, his place is incredibly spacious. Three levels to the home allowed for all my guests to congregate naturally and with enough room to never feel crowded. I also appreciate how well situated it is in town, allowing us to go to places like the Rusty Rail late into the night without worrying about driving back home. What’s more, it may not seem like much, but I genuinely appreciated how everything was labeled in the kitchen, making it easy to find exactly what we needed! I highly recommend it to any larger groups thinking of visiting the area, and would happily book it again for a similar get together.

Perfect home base for Yellowstone

We had a group of 21 stay for one week and it was our best family vacation we have ever had. The house is wonderful, well-equipped and very spacious with three levels. We probably spent the most time on the front porch with gorgeous views of the mountains and the north gate to Yellowstone. Gardiner is a small town but has a handful of good places to eat if you don’t feel like cooking and the grocery store is practically right across the street. Definitely seemed less crowded compared to W. Yellowstone. We went to W. Yellowstone one day to rent ATVs and the traffic lining up to enter the west gate was crazy. We never had any significant wait to get into the park via the north gate and SO glad we chose Gardiner as our base. The rodeo was also in town while we were there, which was fun. I would rent this house again in a heartbeat. It has everything you will need...plenty of extra bedding, towels, blankets, air mattresses, coolers, extra fridge in the garage. There’s a ton of space in the bottom level to spread out air mattresses in the game/living area as well as another living room on the top level that could be used as a semi-private bedroom. Pictures do not do this place justice...it’s beautiful. Thank you so much, Rob!

PERFECT!!Very spacious. Four couples each had their own bathroom. Comfortable beds. Elk each evening out front. Within walking distance to food and cocktails.I can't think of a single thing we would change.

Outstanding Yellowstone family reunion home

One of the best VRBO homes that we have stayed in. Amazing views from the porch and daily visits from deer and elk. Easy walk to grocery store, flying pig, restaurants, Roosevelt arch. North entrance to Yellowstone minutes away. House is well stocked and clean. Lights and drawers are labeled clearly. Kitchen has everything you need. Check in and check out were seamless.

Great house

The house fit our needs really well. The owners has stocked it well. It had plenty of shampoo, soap, coffee filters, seasonings for cooking etc. The wildlife in the yard was a treat...we loved watching the elk, deer, bunnies and even the neighborhood skunks. It is right in Gardiner and several restaurants, shops and a small local grocery store is within walking distance. The view is incredible. It's so close to the North entrance of Yellowstone. We went into the park almost every day and the location was great for that. We also visited the nearby Yellowstone Hot springs to have a rest day and that was a great experience too. The only negative feedback I have is some of the beds were saggy and the carpet is probably in need of replacing soon. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend the house if you want a home base for Yellowstone.

Great home to visit Yellowstone

We had a fantastic stay at this home. The kitchen truly has everything you could want. All the paper products and toiletries are provided. This is such a big help when flying into Gardiner. The home is right at the North entrance to Yellowstone, it was very magical to be that close. We also had elk in the yard every day. It was so enjoyable to watch and see wildlife up close. The owner was very responsive to any questions and made sure our stay was fantastic!

Family Reunion in Yellowstone

The house was so well organized, and well stocked with all needed supplies. The entire house was very clean and very well maintained. The house manual was a very good guide for our stay in the home.The front porch was a great gathering place for the entire family at the end of the day to watch the elk and the beautiful view of the nearby mountains.
