Looking for a great FAMILY retreat? Why spend more on a single hotel room when you can have a whole multi-bedroom cabin and property to youself?

Lookout Point Cabin is located at the top of a tranquil mountain PAVED road. Privacy between you and the surrounding neighbors by natural barriers and woods. Solitude with isolated wooded views in the rear and spectacular far-range mountain views in the front.

Enjoy waking up with your coffee on the front porch as the sun rises over the mountain peaks. The common areas emphasize quality time, including a game room and family room. There is a hot tub you can soak in right off the back porch. Enjoy a relaxing evening down by the fire pit with your friends/family.

Need to get some work done while away? Free wifi with high-speed internet is included. All TVs are smart TVs with streaming apps already loaded. Antennae broadcast available.

Price is for entire cabin and property. Owners do not reside on premise.

Private driveway for parking. No access to garages.

House Layout:
Three bedrooms. Three bathrooms
First Floor: entryway, one bedroom, one bathroom, game/family room
Second Floor: master suite and bath, one bedroom, one bathroom, kitchen, living room, dining room. Access to back deck hot tub and front balcony.

Sleeping Arrangements:
THREE KING BEDS and an inflatable queen mattress (ideal for children) can sleep 8 guests. One of the king beds can separate into two twins if needed.


Dog Friendly. One kennel/cage provided. One set of dog bowls to use. Property description is for only 1 dog, <50 pounds. If >50lbs or more than one dog requested, please inquire to see if an exception can be made for your furry family member(s). $30 per stay pet fee. I'm sorry, NO cats as family allergic.


Perfect location! Only 6 miles (10 minutes) from door step to down-town Blue Ridge (ALL PAVED). No need for 4x4 or truck to navigate these roadways. Only 10 miles (10-15 minutes) from the small mountain town of McCaysville.

Only minutes from mainstream attractions including hiking/biking trails, gem mining, Mercier Orchards, tubing, kayaking, paddle boarding, wineries, fishing, blue ridge lake, etc. Let’s not forget a little drive to North Carolina and Tennessee.

Disclosures: property is in the mountains with other residents in proximity. Though the mountains are typically quiet and serene, there is the possibility of exposure to animals and other natural noises. These experiences cannot be helped or modified.

This is a great property . Lovely views from every room. And extremely clean and well equipped. There are some stairs to the primary living area but the view is fantastic. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Highly recommend

The house was very clean, the beds and furniture are comfortable, the view from the porch is amazing and the host was lovely and sent timely communications. I would rebook this property anytime. For families with children two of the bedrooms also had rocking chairs which was honestly a dream at bedtime.

AMAZING PLACE

This was an amazing place! The beds were so comfortable and sheets so soft. Though we didn’t cook we noticed the kitchen was very well stocked. The screened in porch with the beautiful Mountain View’s was absolutely breathtaking! Everything was beautiful and clean and well cared for. We were gone a lot and didn’t get to enjoy a lot of the amenities like the fire pit and the hot tub and the game room but all were wonderful touches that will ensure we will be back again!

Amazing mountains view

We really enjoyed the cabin very much. The view was amazing. It had everything we needed and the game room was a great way to relax and keep the kiddos entertained. The dogs next door were a minus as they seemed to be outside every moment we were and barked constantly. The bath towels and kitchen towels were very mildew / moldy smelling as soon as they got wet, they just wreaked. Overall, we had a great time, and the cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Cabin was lovely! Host was very responsive to my questions. There were lots of extras that we didn’t anticipate, but really appreciated like baby gates (we used these to keep our dogs away from exterior doors), coffee, shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc. Wi-Fi was excellent for working and streaming. The neighborhood felt very safe, the dogs and I explored a lot of it (even the fairly steep hills) a lot. Sitting out on the top screened in deck was definitely our favorite. Only drawback, which wouldn’t prevent us from staying here again was the neighbor next door does turn around in the driveway several times every day which upset my dogs (we live on 5 acres at home, so they aren’t used to cars in the driveway). The neighbors also have multiple dogs in their fenced backyard, but they do bark a lot. We did learn telling them to “stop” or “shush” helped. Loved the cabin, and will look into it again if we are in the area!

This property was well maintained and clean. It was perfectly located for our interest in visiting the area for the first time. The view was my favorite part - I spent a lot of time on the screened porch enjoying sunrises, morning fog, gentle breezes, and sunsets. Beautiful view, comfortable, and convient to different areas

The property was beautiful, house was very well kept and clean, comfortable beds and kitchen had all our basic needs. Thank you to the hosts for sharing their home with us. The amenities were great for our family, shuffle board table being out favorite. The view from both the upstairs and downstairs porch is breath taking and the mountain air, just what we were looking for to renew during our stay. We hiked during our stay, the house location was perfect to explore Cherokee National Forest (TN), Amicalola Falls and Vogel State Park in reasonable driving distance. Being 15 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge there where many great options for food and shopping. 30 min away in Blairsville Jims Smoke N Que has fantastic BBQ. All to say we had a fantastic time, loved the house and the area and will return in the future.

Great Cabin!

My family and I recently spent our spring break in Blue Ridge and had a great time. The cabin is only a short drive to downtown and about 30 minutes to the national forest. My kids enjoyed the hot tub and I personally enjoyed the Mountain views.

Amazing cabin with spectacular mountain views

We absolutely loved this cabin! It's very quiet and the views are breathtaking! We liked the pictures of the cabin but it's so much better in person! There's plenty to do between taking in the views and playing in the game room. There was plenty of room and didn't feel cramped at all. This cabin far exceeded our expectations and would highly recommend this to anyone!

Amazing views

My husband and I stayed at the cabin for 4 weeks with our 2 dogs. The cabin is beautiful and the views are amazing. Everything was very clean and the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. We cooked meals during the week and had adequate equipment to do so. The beds were super comfy. The outside deck which is screened in was great, especially for my husband who worked from there and the yard was nice for the dogs to roam around. We visited local vineyards, breweries and the Mercier Orchard which is amazing. Blue Ridge is very nice with plenty of food options but you do have to drive to everything. Hot tub was great, we also used the fire pit which was great but could use some outside lighting,We would definitely stay here again, although there was only the 2 of us it would be just as great with a larger group. All of the local people were also very frierendly.

Lookout Point was the perfect location for our family trip

Located between McCaysville & Blue Ridge - perfect for all our adventures. White water rafting, kayaking, horseback rides, ziplining all within 20 minutes or so. The home was very clean, and had everything needed for a very comfortable stay. The only annoyance was the dogs next door - as mentioned in other reviews- they barked alot, and through the night our first night. The hot tub was clean, the grill worked great, and the ice maker was able to keep up. Loved the screen porch, especially watching storms come in. We would definitely stay again.
