Really nice stay
This home is very nice and had everything needed to make our stay enjoyable, comfortable and convenient. We had a small family gathering for the holidays and enjoyed family meals, visiting and card playing each evening. We had our two dogs with us and there was plenty of yard space for them to explore. The location is great, very peaceful and quiet but close enough to both Nelsonville and Athens. The check in was fast and easy, but you have to stop in their local store/office to get checked in prior to going to the home and again to drop off the home key after your stay, a minor inconvenience. The home was very clean inside throughout and had all the needed amenities. The interior is well updated and all the wood work gives it a rustic cabin feel and it’s well furnished. It was decorated for Christmas time. The hot tub was functional but has wear and tear, we didn’t use it because it didn’t appear recently well cleaned. Not a big disappointment because we weren’t counting on using it. There were some dog piles between the pool and hot tub that had been missed or ignored by previous visitors. Overall we enjoyed our time at the home and would recommend it for a stay in the area, we would stay here again.
