The unit can accommodate up to 4 guests (3 adults max and one infant) between the queen size bed in the bedroom, the available air mattress and the foldable pack and play)

WI-FI, AC and Roku TV all available for your comfort and for you to feel at home.

The unit is located in the heart of Historical South End, the trendiest neighborhood in Boston. Some of the best coffee shops, restaurants and bars are within a short walking distance (many literally across the street). Whole Foods, CVS and other stores are walking distance, as well as parks.

The unit is in a central location in desirable South End, walking distance from Back Bay, the train station, Downtown and pretty much anywhere in Boston. Parking is not included but there are meters and visitors parking nearby, as well as parking garages within minute walking. Public transportation is also walking distance and you are a short Uber ride away from anywhere.

The location was great and within walking distance to many different places. Easy check in and out and Santo was very responsive. The outdoor patio was an enjoyable place to sit and listen to the sounds of the city.

Santo has a beautiful property. It's got easy access & walkability. Great place to stay in an awesome location!

We loved staying here. Extremely walkable to either Fenway for a game or downtown. We brought our dog and he loved the stay too! So many small parks around to walk to and the neighborhood had so many places to eat and small shops. So convenient!! Will definitely stay here again when we visit Boston!

Can’t beat the location

A small one bedrooom basement of a brownstone in East Boston. Close to so much / and a great neighborhood. Safe. Friendly. Easy walk to everywhere. Amenities are light. Bring your own if staying longer than a night.

We had a wonderful stay in south end! The apartment was clean and well put together. We spent most of our time out of the unit so we cannot speak to the kitchen or living area as we were exploring, but the bed was comfortable and the outdoor living space was very enjoyable with a cup of coffee! The area was quiet and we did not ever bump in to anyone else coming or going. The local area was wonderful and we really enjoyed the Buttery for a quick breakfast and exploring shops nearby! Santo was a lovely host and very communicative when we had questions. We would definitely stay here again! The only thing to be aware of is the stairs to get down to the unit are a little steep but we found that to be a Boston thing but for anyone with bad knees it may be something to think about. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nothing beats this amazing location! Small basement unit but safe and cozy and love the outdoor area. We had a wonderful time and could walk to everything in the south end and back bay. Big fans!

Great Neighborhood & Attentive Host

We were in Boston for 5 nights so that I could run the marathon. The location of the apartment was so convenient. Everything were looking for was .5 miles away. We don't mind walking so there was no need for taxis/uber. There are several great restaurants just around the corner and downtown was an 20 min walk. There was never a time that we didn't feel safe on the nearby streets. There was also bike rentals right around the corner. The apartment itself is an older building. The apartment is in the basement so it can feel a little dark. Some of the doors stick and such. All things you would think of an older building. It had great character and was furnished nicely. If you are looking for five star luxury, this is not it but it was comfortable and had all the necessities. The bed was comfortable. If you are traveling with someone, you would want to know that person pretty well, because there is not a lot of privacy as it is a smaller space. The pictures accurately depict the apartment. The back porch was quaint. We did not use it much because it was a bit chilly. The heating and air worked well. The bathroom is small. Between that and the narrow stairs down to the apartment, I would not recommend this for anyone with mobility challenges. The host was great. We communicated quite a bit in the booking process and had a couple things come up during the trip that needed attention and we was very responsive and helpful. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Loved Our Stay - Great Location

Quick weekend stay to visit our college student. The apartment was exactly as listed: quiet, private, comfortable, clean, and walkable to everything we needed (restaurants, shops, & even Fenway). Loved the private back deck to enjoy the fall weather. Property owner was accommodating and responsive which is much appreciated. I plan to save this rental for future trips! Just a note: it is a basement apartment so there are steps but did not find them unreasonable. If have mobility issues, then reconsider.

Great location Apartment in Boston

The greatest thing about this apartment is its location to attractions in downtown Boston. Everything is a short one mile walk away. I am a walker so this worked out nicely for me and my boyfriend. To reiterate what many people have said in the reviews, the apartment is located in a basement level and the stairs are narrow. This is not a good place to rent for someone with mobility issues. Also, the towels that were provided were a little stained. They appeared clean but could use some bleach. The weirdest thing about the unit was the shower door that did not close all the way. This was only strange in that the toilet paper was in the open space so the water spray from the shower would sometimes hit the toilet paper. It is a small thing though because the rest of the unit was nice and clean. Again, the apartment was a great location!

It was okay

We liked the location and this place did the trick for our 5 night stay touristing Boston. The kitchen was nice and newer looking. Shower was nice with good pressure. Couldn't find an outlet in the bathroom which I thought was odd. The toilet wiggles like it's not connected to the floor, and the fan only worked for 3 seconds before shutting off. Towels are white and look old. I wouldn't recommend for anyone who gets around slowly or has any kind of injury/condition because you have to go down a flight of very narrow stairs to get to the place. It was just a little wider than my suitcase so that was a struggle for me. The inside apartment door is hard to close and must be pulled/pushed hard by slamming it. The downstairs entryway outside your apartment door is a storage area, not pretty. When we arrive, the dishsoap was empty and ice tray all cracked and when I first contacted the host about it, he tried to brush it off saying the cleaning people were supposed to check all that and that he'd replace them when a guest wasn't there. I had to politely demand dish soap and new ice tray by day 2 so I could have these essentials during my stay and then he complied. I was looking forward to using the back porch/yard area but the glass table looked like it hadn't been cleaned in over a month. It was gross and I didn't find any cleaning spray to wash it myself (nor should I have had to). If you plan to use the air mattress note that it will take up half your living room floor.

Nice flat great location

The apartment is very cute. Very well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. The location of the apartment was great for walking, walked to Whole Foods and all the way to Fenway Park for Dodger /Red Sox game. Also walked to the museum of fine arts Boston. Felt safe walking at all times. What I hope Santos will fix is the AC… we could not get the apartment cool at all. The AC ran constantly but I think it’s preset at a temperature that didn’t cool apartment or relieve us of the humidity. Very uncomfortable even at night with the back slider open. Fans could of helped. Also his towels need some TLC felt old and discolored.
