We had a wonderful stay. The location was perfect, very walkable and close to great shops and restaurants, which made exploring easy and enjoyable for our family of four. The apartment had a perfect view of the Friday night fireworks over the lagoon, which was such a special highlight.

Waikiki View Condo

We came to Oahu to visit Pearl Harbor. We wanted something with a view and this condo did not disappoint. The listing and pictures represent the condo very well. The lanai is a little small for dining but works for coffee &. Happy Hour cocktails. It was also a front row seat for the Friday night Fireworks! The fireworks are a huge reason to stay here. The view is fabulous and the cost for this condo is very reasonable compared to hotel costs in the Waikiki area. Parking is easy and readily available in the parking garage. We purchased a three day pass that got us in and out of the garage easily over the course of our day. James, the property manager, was great and answered all of our questions promptly.

Nice to come back!

Our second stay in unit 1180. Once again, the folks at Captain Cooke did a fantastic job. The unit is squeaky clean, well set up and stocked with utensils, linens, “stuff you need”. The kitchen is more than adequate for vacation cookery (very little on my part, LOL). The views are excellent, and although Waikiki can be noisy, when you shut the door (only at night for us), it’s whisper quiet. The TV …if you need some word of the outside world…has about a zillion HD channels to a very nice, large flat screen. And if you’re a day sleeper, as I sometimes am, the blackout shades are superb. Bottom line? Will we come back for a third visit? Absolutely. Thanks Captain Cooke.

I booked the unit because it was a corner unit which gave us a fabulous view but the unit itself is tired looking, uncomfortable and needs major updates.1. Dining chairs wobbly and uncomfortable.2. Table top for dining table not connected.3. Sofa bed is uncomfortable and sinks.4. Sliding glass door between bedroom and bathroom, very difficult to slide.5. Very dark in unit, not enough lighting.6. Bathroom counters are old.7. Missing towel rod, didn’t bother to take off the screws from the missing towel rod.8. Ceiling light above kitchen sink not working.There is so much more to list but one of the top issues is the smell of marijuana in the hallway. The smell of marijuana was present throughout our stay.James was great, he personally greeted us and assisted when we had issues with the electrical outlets in the kitchen.I rate the view as a 5 but the unit itself a 2. I would recommend the Ilikai Marina but not unit #1180.Feel free to reach out if you require additional information.Mahalo!

Amazing view, fantastic location

Very clean, great communication with host. They even have two pairs of flippers, a cooler and two body boards. You’ll book this place for the view but you’ll love the walking proximity to the beach, shopping, food and entertainment. Perfect view of the Friday night fireworks. PARKING: Is super easy with the building being attached to the parking garage. Just ensure you understand the process for getting a multiple day pass. Upon getting there get a normal parking ticket, go park. Then go buy your multiple day pass. Upon driving out scan your initial ticket then immediately scan your multiple day pass. Once you do that, you can toss your initial ticket and just use your multiple day pass. Unlike many place where a host wants your to more/less detail clean everything, the checkout procedure is simple - “wash dishes, take out trash, lock door.”

May 12th stay at Waikki Condo

We both really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful condo. We loved the stunning view of the marina and the beach. The beach chairs were used every day. Location was great, walking distance to the beach and restaurants. We had a hard time to find the sink plug, messaged someone but did not get a reply. We took a chance with something i found in the drawer and it worked. Not really much to complain about with this one:)
