Get the royal treatment on your Emerald Coast vacation when you book a stay at Empress 301, a Gulf-view condo located in Destin’s Miramar Beach. The condo includes three bedrooms, three baths, an open-concept floor plan with two living areas, coastal views, and access to community amenities. It can accommodate up to eight vacationers.

Immediately upon stepping foot into your lovely vacation rental, you will feel right at home. The condo’s lightly toned walls, tiled floors, and ten-foot ceilings create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Sunlight streams through sliding glass doors, accentuating the spaciousness. With two living areas, there is plenty of room to spread out and relax with your fellow vacationers. One living room takes full advantage of its beach-view position with sliding glass doors that open onto a furnished, wraparound balcony. The living room’s seating ensemble is made up of a latte-toned couch, accent armchairs, and a glass-topped drink table. An open kitchen overlooks the cozy living area and features large countertops, a breakfast bar, and custom cabinetry. Next to the kitchen is a formal dining room with pedestal-based table and six cushioned chairs centered on a patterned rug. From here, tile flooring flows into the second living area, which boasts views of Stewart Lake, one of the area’s serene coastal dune lakes. This living room includes a queen-size sleeper sofa, a matching love seat, a leather lounger, and a TV.

This beautifully appointed condo has not one, but two master suites, as well as a comfortable guest bedroom. The main master bedroom is bright and airy, and it has a king-size bed, TV, sunny windows, and access to the breezy balcony. It also has a private bath, complete with dual vanities, a deep soaking tub beneath a cheerful window, and a glass-walled shower. In the other master suite, you will find a king-size bed, lounge chair, TV mounted atop a white dresser, and a private bath with tub/shower combo. This suite has access to the balcony, which is perfect for watching the waves, listening to the breeze, and sipping a cold cocktail. The guest bedroom has twin beds and windows with lake views.

In addition to restful vacation accommodations, guests will enjoy access to a variety of amenities. The white-sand beach and jeweled waves are less than a one-minute walk away. After spending time on the beach, head back for a freshwater dip in the expansive pool that overlooks the lake. A hot tub, sun patio, and BBQ grills are provided. Ocean Reef Resorts vacationers also benefit from discounted recreation rates at Seascape Resort.

This condo’s Miramar Beach location is a prime spot for coastal dining and activities. The popular Whale’s Tail Beach Bar and Grill is a short stroll away, as is the delicious Royal Palm Grille. Bars, beach shops, and grocery stores are within close proximity. The Village of Baytowne Wharf is a must-visit as well, featuring everything from family activities to a vibrant nightlife to seasonal festivals and events.

Lovely Stay

We booked the condo and we’re pleasantly surprised when we arrived by the new furniture, paint and renovations that had been made. It is very roomy with two living spaces and two master suites which was perfect for my parents who joined our family. The condo was very clean when we arrived with plenty of towels and we enjoyed having an ice maker. The location is perfect and the beach is right across the street. Plenty of places in walking distance. We will definitely stay here again.

Very nice visit, a few quirks

Very clean and roomy condo. Spacious living areas, you can work and relax without interfering with each other. Somewhat dated kitchen and bathrooms, looks to be original 1998. Complex hot tub overflowing and allowed cold water in continuously. Great balconies to drink morning coffee on. Short walk to the beach.

Great Family Vacay! Spacious Condo!

We had a wonderful time, plenty of room to spread out with multiple families in this unit! They keep the property nice and clean! Pool and hot tub were great! Balcony views of the ocean, didn’t mind the foot traffic if you like the lively atmosphere! Short walk to the one prettiest beach around, everything within reach.. We did bring all our little extras, like dish soap and TP. But that wasn’t a problem for us, it’s part of the deal ;) overall a very fun and memorable trip for our family!! We can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful Property — The property is what I'd called "Older Palatial."

Positives: The Condo is HUGE and was more than we would ever need. The front opens to the Gulf of Mexico and the back to a lake. Patios are on both sides and you can choose to hear the crashing waves or the sounds of frogs croaking. As with most vacations, the time spent inside was limited as we were outside, doing outdoor vacations things. But evenings were spent on the balconies, watching the people on the beach. The inside is HUGE and even if you had a decent sized family, there would be plenty of room on rainy days. Huge separate ice maker helps. Shopping is only a few blocks away. We rode bicycles to CVS and Winn-Dixie for supplies. There's a restaurant almost across the street if you're not wanting to go far for a small meal. Negatives: The bathrooms look like the 1980's. Brass fixtures and shower. Master bathroom shower head dribbles because it's clogged. Bathroom toilet sticks and won't stop running. Leak detectors turned off the water three times and had to be reset. Very minimal supplies when you arrive. One bar of soap and one toilet roll per bathroom, upon arrival. You have to purchase your own. Street between condo and beach is NOISY from daylight to 8-9pm. Revving engines, subwoofers shaking the ground and people honking horns detract from the sounds of the waves. Expect to pay for chairs and umbrellas ($45) each day at the beach, as the rest of the complex gets these for free. "The Empress" building is for some reason, excluded from the deal. Master Bedroom screen door is frozen in place so no listening to waves while you sleep. :( It really is a nice place but, is just getting older.
