Summary:
Enjoy this large 2 bedroom 2 full bath condo in the heart of Canmore. Prime location, yet quiet. Steps from all the amenities in downtown, and everything else you need for a perfect vacation in the Canadian Rockies. Please note: This condo tends to run a bit warm around 22-25 degrees. It may get hot in here during your stay, to cool the unit opening the windows or using the fans provided.

The Space:
Fully furnished with high-end appliances and furniture. Fully-stocked kitchen. Free designated heated underground parking. Hosts up to 6 people. This is a pet friendly unit please let us know if you will be being any pets with you during your stay as they have to be approved. We also do charge a pet fee per pet for the stay.

Located in Canmore Place (1002 8th Ave), a quiet building just one block from Main Street. Constructed in 2009, this well laid out 1008-sq ft condo provides high quality and comfortable modern living

The Property Features:
Master Bedroom has a King-size bed with a high-end Sealy® Posturepedic® mattress and a TV with Netflix and a ceiling fan

The 5 piece master ensuite bathroom includes double sinks, soaker tub, separate shower and heated floors.

The Second Bedroom has a Queen-size bed with a new high-end Sealy® Posturepedic® mattress.

The second bathroom is also a 4 piece bath with a bath/ shower combination and heated floors.

Large open concept kitchen boasts granite countertops, breakfast bar and stainless steel appliances.

Living room features cherry hardwood floor, gas fireplace. 1 Full-size pull-out sofa in the living room. Free high speed Wi-Fi and Netflix.

The livingroom walks out to the balcony provides additional outdoor space with a screen door to allow great air flow.

This centrally located condo allows you to enjoy the best Canmore and the Canadian Rockies have to offer.

Park your car, a network of walking and biking trails in downtown will lead you to the most stunning views of the Canadian Rockies, with hundreds of kilometres of hiking trails along the beautiful Bow River and across majestic mountain valleys. Nearby, Banff National Park is only 15-minute away; Lake Louise/Yoho National Park 1 hour.

During the Winter, you can enjoy a wide range of winter sports in any of your choice among all the world-class, spectacular ski resorts within Canmore and nearby area.

Returning from a long day after hiking or skiing, some of the finest restaurants and cafes in western Canada are just steps away from the condo, awaiting you to explore effortlessly.

Parking is limited in Canmore especially during high season May-September. Your condo has one dedicated parking spot available.
If you are bringing more than one vehicle you will have to find street parking nearby or in the Town of Canmore paid parking lots. This is beyond our control. We do appreciate your understanding of this.

This property does not have Air Conditioning. Please understand that summer can be warm and the property can get hot. Fans are supplied to help keep things cool. However we are limited in what we can do as there is no AC with this building. If having AC is important to you please inquire with us for other alternative properties that have AC.

As this is a pet friendly condo, please let us know if any pets will be joining you as they have to be approved. We allow up to a maximum of 2 pets per unit for a fee. 1 pet fee will automatically be added to the stay provided you selected a pet under guests. Additional pets that are joining BookCanmore will have to request additional payment which is not included in the initial reservation quote. Please let us know if any pets will be joining you as they must be approved. If no pet fee is selected but we find evidence of a pet guests will be charged the amount owed.

Maintenance alert October / November 2025
1.) Please be advised the building corporation will be undertaking an Exterior & Balcony Work Project at Canmore Place. The purpose of this project is to address necessary repairs and maintenance to preserve the building exterior and ensure the safety and longevity of the balconies Access to balconies may be temporarily restricted while work is underway during Monday - Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm for approximately 4 weeks . What to Expect: Contractors will gain access to the balconies from the exterior of the property, Scaffolding, lifts, or swing stages may be used, Noise and debris are expected during working hours; the contractor will try to keep the disruptions to a minimum. Certain areas may be cordoned off for safety — please respect signage and barriers. Thank you for your understanding!

2.) This condo had a fridge water line leak which affected the hardwood flooring. Please note there is some swelling of the hardwood around the fridge and hallway section ( meaning a bump on the flooring) it is marked for your safety. It is ok to walk on and should not disrupt your stay. We ask that you please just be mindful around the area.

3.) Canmore is a growing town some noise may be heard from new building & road construction
