Were the towels moldy?
First of all, I received no communication as to means of checking in. When I did call, I had to lug my things back out of the building, drive to another location, and wait in line. My packet was given to a woman two in front of me who had a similar name; thankfully, she realized it before she left the site.
Returned to the building only to find that the lobby code on my packet did not work. Luckily someone was exiting the building so I was able to get in, but then spent another half an hour between two calls trying to get through to an agent and new code before I could leave my building for my evening obligations. It's 2023 - how about phone access to building and room?
There was long hair on the bathroom floor and under the couch when I arrived. EWW #1.
I really had to use the restroom when I got there after all this time, and there was no paper in there. I searched and finally found a bag in the kitchen with TP, soap, paper towels, etc...why would one look in the kitchen for TP? Put things where they belong, please.
The next morning when I took my shower, I discovered black spots all over BOTH bath towels. They also didn't smell clean. EWW #2! I had no choice but to use one since I was soaking wet. Were these hung up wet and got moldy, or what? Inexcusable. Thankfully I had a beach towel to use the rest of my stay.
Had to return offsite to check out by 10 a.m.
For all of these reasons, I would not use Vacasa again. Makes me believe "premier host" is a purchased title.
